“Hotel Best western”
“Hotel Bisanzio”
One complaint being the comfort of the bed...well for me, like sleeping on a door which may suit a back sufferer, beside this one tiny fault it was great and deserving of a 5 regardless.
“We had a great four day break”
Hotel is very pleasant, situated perfectly. The staff are very helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recomend this hotel to anyone staying in Central Venice.
“Hotel Bizanzio Venice”
Excellent location, bed linen and towels spotless. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful, really good value for money.
“the friendliest hotel i have ever stayed in”
I went away for the weekend with 3 girlfriends. We arrived at 12 and asked if there was any possibility we could check in early. The gentleman behind the desk greeted us warmly and asked if we would we be interested in staying in a 2 room suite. It was fabulous for 4 friends staying together or a family of 4. He then gave us a map and showed us a route round venice to see both the tourist bits and some of the venice that the locals know. He also gave us reccomendations for lunch. Later we came back to the hotel to have a drink before getting changed for the evening and a new gentleman was on the desk. He was equally friendly and cheerful. There were lots of lovely restaurants if you walked away from the water and very reasonably priced. We had a 4 course set menu at 20 Euros. They kept our bags the next day for no charge until we needed to catch the plane. Wonderful!
“A very well plcaced and reasonably priced hotel with welcoming staff”
This was my first time in Venice and the Bisanzio was a perfect place from which to explore.Less than 10 minutes walk from St Mark's Sq and a couple of minutes from the Vaperetto stops. The staff were always charming and helpful. Breakfast was a fairly simple affair but perfectly adequate. The rooms were smallish and simply furnished but ours had a pretty view and was perfect for our needs. Definitely a good hottel from which to explore if you want to be centrally located in nice surroundings without spending a fortune.
“great deal !”
Very close to vaporetto (city transportation system) and St Marco Sq, the hotel is very well maintained and confortable. Breakfast is OK, not gooooood.
“Cannot recommend highly enough”
We had a wonderful holiday in Venice and it was made more special by the hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming. The location is very central but in a quiet off street.
“Venices hidden gem”
Lovely hotel situated just away from the main tourist area but easy walking to everything. Quiet location away from the bustle of the main waterways, handy in the morning as it could be noisy.
“L'Idéal”
Trés bien situé prés de la station bateaux bus Zaccaria. Au calme aimabilité accueil et propreté irréprochable. On y parle bien le Francais. On le recommande.

Area:
Castello, Venice, Italy: Bordering San Marco and the Rialto and stretching east to some of Venices quietest greenest parts, Castello is the citys most varied sestiere. Its most famous aspect is the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront next to the Bridge of Sighs, with picture-postcard views onto the lagoon. Yet a few yards from the tourist hoards, the backstreets are quiet and typically Venetian. There are many outstanding churches and art collections in this area.
