"Away from the crowds"
Beautiful apartment in a quiet part of Venice. We arrived at the train station and had to endure a cramped experience on the water taxi. However, the sense of happiness on arriving at the residence after such an experience cannot be expressed enough. The apartment was well equipped, spacious and had the facility to cook your own food. There two supermarkets closeby were well stocked and this did cut down on food expenses especially with a family of four. Make sure you visit the Doge's Palace as soon as it opens before the crowds arrive. Visit St Marks Square in the evening when the crowds are more bearable. We all fell in love with Venice including our two teenage boys. The late night walk through Venice and the gelatos certainly helped. Take a water bus down the grand canal in the evening and the crowds do ease.

"Very good location and clean"
Easy to walk to Piazza San Marco. Easy access to Vaporetto. Rooms are on the third floor so if you have heavy luggage it may not be for you.

"Perfect Location - Perfect for some, not for others"
First, this is not your typical hotel. In fact it's not a hotel at all. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous and want a different sort of Venice experience I highly recommend this B&B. You'll basically be staying in your own apartment complete with well stocked kitchen. If you're after a typical hotel with service desk etc. it's not for you. My wife and I loved it. First the location is right in the center of a very popular area of Venice so everything you need is within walking distance. The place is a bit hard to find, but upon arrival the owner of the B&B gave me his cell phone number and clear instructions. The apartment is located on a small quiet street and is several floors up with no lift so you'll need to navigate multiple flights of stairs. Giorgio is an amazing host. He made my wife and I very comfortable in Venice including restaurant recommendations and was available whenever we had questions. He is what made the visit perfect. The room was clean and refreshed daily. If you're used to staying in a very nice hotel it might feel a bit too "real" for you. If you have issues with stairs this would not be the place for you. If you are wanting a great place to stay that is comfortable, convenient and you want to feel like you are living like a local would, this is a great place and we would highly recommend it.

"Great location"
The hotel was in a great location, only about 5 minutes walk from a boat stop. The room was clean. Although nothing fancy, it was about what I would expect from a hotel of this star rating and not a bad size. I also found the bed comfortable, the only negative being that I would have liked softer pillows. This is just a personal preference though. There was a wine bar across the road. This was handy and not too bad with regards to noise as it closed at 2100 hrs. Breakfast was pleasant and had a good choice. I liked that the coffee was also there to help yourself to at breakfast. I can not fault this. Overall I would say this was a pleasant hotel in a great location which I would recommend.

"Beautiful hotel one street away from the beach"
We are a family of two adults and three adolescent boys who wanted to stay in the vicinity of Venice for three days. Lido is a beautiful, calm, small island that is less than 15 minutes away in the vaporetto from the heavily crowded St Mark's square and the heart of Venice. This hotel accommodated us well, with five people sleeping comfortably in one room. The hotel is perfectly located, one street away from the beach and less than one mile away from downtown Lido and the vaporetto station. It has very clean rooms, the outdoors facilities are well-kept, beautifully landscaped, and the pool is well maintained. The hotel rented us five bicycles and we were able to bike our way through the island. We had a complication the last day with our flight leaving Marco Polo Airport at 6AM, and the staff was specially helpful on arranging for a taxi and a water taxi to pick us up during the middle of the night.

This is an apartment owed by somebody who rents it out to tourists, so it is not a hotel of serviced apartment as such. However it is a great location on a few min walk to Rialto Bridge and San Marco, Laura the owner is lovely the apartment is clean. Howev it is up to you to maintain this as it is does not get serviced. I loved it and thought it was great.

Pocket Guide: Apartment Hotels in Venice

Why not wake up each day with the glistening Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains right outside your window? Whether you are in town for pleasure or for work, a long-term stay in Whistler is a fantastic opportunity to fully indulge in the beauty of the town and mountain peaks. Spend your days improving your skiing, or finally master snowboarding like you’ve been wanting to do for years. Since you’re in town for a while, take a few days to explore the arts and culture of Whistler Village, too. Stop into the Whistler Museum, where exhibits show the history of skiing in the area. Learn about stories of the 2010 Winter Olympics that took place on the two mountains. The Squamish Lil’wait Cultural Centre is a fantastic museum in its own right and is dedicated to the history of the local First Nations tribe, the Lil’wat people. The Village is also home to museums and offers visitors and locals alike live music performances throughout the year.
