Good value Hotel

Posted 12-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean and comfortable, spacious bedrooms, nice breakfast included.
Cons: Tea tray should be checked for stock.
Location: About 10 minutes by taxi to the cruise port. Looked like a nice area, didn't explore, simply went from the Marco Polo Airport to Hotel (10 Minutes)
The hotel was clean and comfortable, we stayed there for one night before embarking a cruise. The only negative comment would be the tea tray was not sufficiently stocked ie. 4 persons - 1 teabag and only two cups and saucers. Everything else was positive.

Nice hotel close to Venice.

Posted 9-Sep-2014
Pros: The room is clean, staffs are friendly, good breakfast, just 10 minute from the airport. No need to carry our luggage around, like in Venice.
Cons: More variety of breakfast items.
Location: 10 minutes drive to airport.
Nice hotel near Venice ( about 15 minutes drive by bus ). We had family size room which can accommodate 4 people.

Nice hotel, close to Venice and airport.

Posted 4-Sep-2014
Pros: The hotel was clean, comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was quite nice and had a good variety of foods.
Cons: This hotel turns off the air conditioning at night and the rooms get quite hot I woke up one night in a full sweat.
Location: The restaurant does not serve dinner until 7. If you are hungry before then there is a small bar/cafeteria about 2 blocks away that has decent food.
We picked this hotel over one actually in Venice because we had a very early morning flight. That worked out well as the airport is no more than 10 minutes away. We used the local bus system to get to and from Venice (you can buy tickets from the hotel) and that works well also. The bus is always crowded as it goes from Venice to the airport but you get to Venice in less than 30 minutes and can walk directly to the vapporato stand.

Very kid friendly hotel

Posted 4-Sep-2014
Pros: The staff, especially the lady at the front desk, very friendly and genuine.
Cons: the bed sheet covers looked depressing
Location: nothing much very near by. it's close to the airport so if you're flying out the next day it's a good spot to be in. To get to Venice you need a bus.
This was perfect for me and my family. I have 3 young kids between the ages of 1-6 years old and they loved it. They had bigger family rooms and a couple of spots for kids to play in. the staff was also very friendly with the children. Its very close to the airport too, ~ 5 min drive. I'd definitely recommend it.

Nice hotel shame about the facilities

Posted 1-Sep-2014
We were given half of a single wardrope with only 2 hangers. No tea making facilities and no drinks in the mini bar. The wall paper in the room is peeling.

Last minute mistake

Posted 30-Aug-2014
Location: Nothing of interest near by. one bus takes you into Venice. Bus tickets available at the hotel.
Stayed here as a last minute booking in Venice. Hotel staff was very useless in trying to solve our problems. Walls in the room were covered in scuff marks and hand prints, windows had greasy hand and face prints all over. wifi unavailable in rooms despite the manager coming in into our room trying to convince me that it works while I showed her that it in fact did not. Saw many other guests sitting in the halls on our floor trying to get wifi at night. Breakfast selection was poor. Walls are also paper thin and we could hear people all over and it sounds like a torrential downpour whenever someone else flushed their toilet or took a shower. Won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. we changed hotels for our last night in Venice.

Great spot

Posted 22-Aug-2014
This hotel is just off Venice island but has a bus that runs late and drops you off at the main landing of Venice. Very helpful staff and shuttle service to airport. Very happy to have found this spot, will definetly return.

Home away from home

Posted 18-Aug-2014
We felt very welcome and felt at home at Antony Hotel. The service was superb special mention to the gentleman who welcomes us at the breakfast area with a smile. Also the lady who provides me soya milk every morning. These two people at breakfast makes me come back again in your hotel. Special mention also to the lady who changes our linen every morning and let us borrow her UK charger, she was lovely too. I returned these chargers in front desk, I hope she got hers. I highly recommend your hotel to all my friends here in the UK when they want to have holiday in Venice. Good job everyone. Two thumbs up!!!
