A wonderful stay.Posted 6-Nov-2013
Pros: Mentioned in another column
Location: One could take #5 bus into Venice and #9 bus to Mestre train station very easily.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable. More than adequate in my evaluation The entire staff was helpful friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was very good. Convenient location to public transportation. The lady manager and her staff came to my assistance in an incident of one of my stolen bag. They did beyond the call of duty (especially for a young man named Nikuli (pardon me if I have the wrong spelling. My experience with this total was more than excellent

Pros: location, shuttle service, staff friendly and helpful. also breakfast buffet!
Cons: maybe some decorating updates
Location: location 5 minutes from airport, 15 minutes or so from venice and also cruise port. small shops and restaurants nearby, nice small neighborhood.
nice hotel, pre-cruise from venice. stayed 4 days, 3 nights. shuttle service picked me up from airport in less than 5 minutes. hotel 5 minutes from airport. although I arrived earlier than check in time, there was a room available so was able to check in and relax after 14 hours flying! awesome!!! room and hotel clean, staff friendly and helpful. rooms could use some decorating, but not there to hang out in hotel room. bus stop 5 minutes walk, bus picks up every 15 minutes. you can also buy bus tickets (as well as tickets for tours etc) at front desk. last day there was a bus strike:( no problem, the hotel shuttle dropped off and picked up at bus terminal to get to venice. with no charge!!!! ty!!!! shuttle also dropped me off at cruise terminal with no problems. very happy with my stay and would stay here again! small tip - looking to just purchase a soda from local stores, after checking out a few with toooo high price, found that the fruit and vegetable shop across the street a bit had large bottles for 2 euros....compared to 3 euros for smaller sizes elsewhere!

Excellent location.Posted 22-Oct-2013
Pros: Excellent location, helpful staff and good breakfast.
Lovely breakfast included. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Located in the older part of Rome within a pleasant 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Around the corner is a great supermarket, a very cheap internet cafe, a pharmacy and wonderful places to eat everywhere at reasonable prices. A great map mentioning all the sites was provided by the hotel. They chose and booked our tour to the Vatican and ordered a wonderful limo service to take us to our cruise ship. They also held our luggage before and after check in time.

Handy for Airport or cruise terminalPosted 20-Oct-2013
Pros: Free wifi, modern room, breakfast and dinner in restaurant
Cons: Tried to use room service breakfast but card was nevr collected and had to go down to dining room
Location: Really not a lot nearby. A few shops but they were all closed on Saturday afternoon, could not find anywhere to have lunch. Very handy for the airport
Really nice hotel only short drive to airport (hotel has cheap shuttle) service. In a mainly residential are with not many facilities within walking distance. Good free wifi available throughout the hotel

Good, well located hotel.Posted 18-Oct-2013
Pros: The rooms are clean with adequate space. This is a great hotel for travelers who want to be near the airport.
Cons: We could not find the location where the minivan was supposed to pick us up in Venice. A short hand-out with the street name would be very helpful.
Location: There is not much to see or do close to the hotel.
Close to Marco Polo Airport. Hotel has a minivan which will pick guests up at airport (modest fee) and transport guests into Venice and Cruise ship port. Breakfast buffet (no charge) has a wide choice of items. Dinners are modestly priced for Venice--food is fairly good. Staff speak pretty good English and are pleasant and helpful.

Pros: Good over the lagoon to Venice from bedroom window. Excellent shuttle coach to and from hote lto Venice or other places public transport good.
Cons: Hotel room was a bit too hot and staff could not adjust air conditioning or heating as set for winter they said.
Location: Location of hotel just on the edge of a small village which has a general store, chemist and 2 restaurants and a ladies dress shop and a church
. Better staying here than in Venice as there it is very awkward carrying luggage through narrow streets to hotel through the crowds of people. Very interesting, and so different a city.Unfortunately had one and a half days of terrible rain when we were soaked right through to our skin and took back home wet shoes and that was 2 days later but still worth the visit. Went around churches art exhibitions and sailed in gondollas and in a boat through the Grand Canal. Nice eating places and some people so very very nice.
