Great pool and waterslide = happy kids!

Posted 24-Jul-2015
Pros: The hotel staff were all polite to deal with. Also the pool and waterslide were fun for the kids. And grown ups!
Cons: Please make sure the housekeeping changes the hand soap. When we arrived on our first night, the soap dish was still containing old hair covered soap.
Location: Close to Wonderland! The front desk staff suggested a nearby restaurant (Dave and Busters) for us which they thought the kids would like and they did.
I picked this hotel based on the reviews and photos I saw online here. I was looking for a hotel that had a pool which the kids would enjoy, and it was! The waterslide was a real hit! On our arrival we had a little bit of difficulty finding the entrance into the hotel parking lot. It didn't help that they had street construction going on and it was crazy with after 5 o'clock bumper to bumper traffic. The hotel is located on a corner but the main entrance is on a side street. (GPS doesn't tell me that, so turning around and going back was a real 'treat'). Once we found it and went into register we were greeted politely and taken care of efficiently. The hotel staff are all very pleasant to deal with. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that our room faced the north side overlooking the busy street. I didn't have a good sleep because of the street traffic below. Since the hotel is located at a corner you easily hear the car engines revving, horns honking. And because of the construction, you hear "beep, beep, beep" of the construction vehicles backing up starting at 7:15 am. Other than the noise, we really enjoyed our stay. I would suggest you ask for a room facing the south side if you are not used to street traffic noise. I would stay here again, but hopefully when that time comes around the road construction will be finished.

Great pool and location!

Clean, comfortable hotel. Pool w/ water slide was perfect for kids. Only 3 towels for 4 people staying in room but perhaps this was overlooked by staff. Breakfast not included and was pricey. Fairly expensive hotel but close to attractions so it was worth it.

A hotel which makes us feel welcome.

Posted 5-Jul-2015
Pros: The room was comfortable, the pool and water slide a big hit with our grandson!
Cons: The only breakfast option was a $15 buffet. A less expensive option, a la carte, would be much appreciated, especially if staying several days.
Location: Very convenient to main highway. Near Canada's Wonderland, Legoland, IKEA and Vaughan Mills Mall.
This is our second time with this chain and we have been happy both times.

End of school getaway

Posted 5-Jul-2015
Each year I take my daughter and friends away for end of year party. This year it was Canada's Wonderland staying at the garden inn Hilton, check inn was quick and smooth, room was very clean, pool area was fantastic, requested cot in room. As well as room service. All requests were dealt with promptly. In addition to the numerous towels the girls used the room was always clean. My only complaint would be the location, having to get on and off major hwys, ( not a fan ) However you are5 minutes from theme park and Vaughan Mills Mall .

Ordinary hotel, nothing special

Posted 1-Jul-2015
Pros: had a keurig coffee maker
Location: Location was great, everything we were looking for was within 5km.
First off we had to park across the street as the parking lot was full. Then the lady at the front desk said that she could not find my reservation as she typed in the wrong number from my printout. She finally found it and gave us our room. Room was ok, nothing special.

Waste of babysitting.......

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Room had recently been smoked in, no rooms to switch to. Staff offered to spray deodorizer, or to "ionize" the room. As we were in it getting ready to attend. Wedding nearby that wasn't convenient. Tv was missing from sitting room, which was why we paid the extra $$ for the separate sitting area.
