“Unforgettable first night in Avignon”
Even though my arrival was very late like 11:30 pm, I was welcomed and assisted for my reservation. The help from the hotel front was very helpful. The hotel location is very convenient for whom to seek a room very near the Avignon Center station. Also, I can get a nice map and information from the Tourist center located just in front of this hotel. It was a nice start of my trip in Avignon.
“Typical French 'Two Star" Hotel”
We stayed at Hotel Aliza in May of 2010. It is a typical two star by european standards. Pros: The staff at the hotel were very accomodating and helpful. Most spoke at least a little english, which was enough to get by. The location was great, with resturants, sites and transit nearby. Buses take you right to the TGV. The price was right for what you get. Has television. Cons: The hotel is a bit older and the beds aren't that great. No AC. Overall, I would recommend to others, unless they need the plush comforts during their travels. I would definately stay there if I return to Avignon.
“no frills - good location”
A budget room, no frills - good location
“Don't be Fooled by the Photos”
Don't be deceived by the Expedia pictures of this hotel. It's a run down, cigarette smelling place that we were happy to leave. Thin pillows and thin walls. No Internet on the 3rd floor. The night staff were nice but couldn't help with the network. Bathroom floor was dirty. Entire room smelled like a smoker. No lobby. Definitely won't stay there again.
“not good”
If the price is your only option, you can choose this one. If not, find someone else. Good luck.
