"Sleeping with history"
It was amazing experience to be in this hotel all the history to share the accommodations were there were soldiers and Jesuits living here. Our room was just in th other side of the Chappell and to walk through the Chappell get to the room amazing.

"Excellent hotel right in the center of Avignon"
From the warm welcome to the excellent customer service to the lovely, comfortable room, my stay at Hotel de l'Horlage was delightful! Awaking each morning, the sonorous tolling of the bells of St. Agricol informed me of the time, then and throughout the day! It is so nice not to have to consult one's watch.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and loved our appartment. In our travels most hotel rooms were small so it was lovely to have a bit more room and a kitchen. It was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a lovely courtyard and of course a warm welcome. Well worth the price, so what more could we wish for!

"Great hotel, staff and excellent restaurant"
We enjoyed Hotel D'Europe for 2 nights prior to starting our Viking River Cruise in March. We were greeted by a very professional and friendly staff who made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. We alerted them of a small problem with the water running in our toilet and they moved us from our lovely Classic Room to a Jr. Suite, rather than inconvenience us with what was a small repair. The staff spoke excellent English. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner in their Michelin one star restaurant. The waiters and sommelier were very friendly, welcoming and explained the various dishes and wines. Do not miss having a meal in their restaurant. The hotel is an easy walk to sites and shopping in town. It's a peaceful oasis and would love to go back and enjoy a coffee on the terrace.

"Very Nice & Quiet Family Hotel Close to Avignon"
Very nice and quiet hotel, still within walking distance (30 min) of Avignon. We had bikes, so getting to town was easy. You can take the car to one of the large parking lots close to Avignon. Hotel was very nice and quiet, at an affordable rate. very (!) friendly staff. Very nice breaktfast room with buffet. Can recommend this special hotel any time!

"Clean, quiet good hotel at the heart of the region"
Car is a must, and parking here is plentiful and free in front of or just 30 sec from the hotel. There are lots of picturesque towns close by and most towns in the region have markets to discover and enjoy. Lavender covers the region, Mont Ventoux is a bit further but can be seen from the drive into Apt if you come from Aix… The hotel has no restaurant, but the town has a few good ones; the one to not miss is” Chez Mon Cousin Alphonse.”

"Looks Deceiving, Really Comfy and Clean"
Don't let the hustle and bustle outside this hotel, or the dark entry to the elevator, or tiny hotel desk scare you !!! Take a breath, and go through to your room. It is a simple, typical smaller European hotel, that offers everything you need while in glorious Avignon, and its' surrounding towns.. It is clean, scrubbed, and quaint. Little biscuits are left daily, and a pint size breakfast room where for 20 euros a day breakfast for 2. It is probably hot in the summer, so be sure to incquire about air, but we believe the whole hotel has air. Draw the blinds to keep sun out and conserve energy.. Price is great, we had the 4th or 5th floor right opposite the theater, or town hall.Would return. Hotel asks for your key when going out and there is always someone to return it to you upon return.

"Home away from Home"
Aida was relieved to welcome us after we ran a bit late signing up the lease car then doing a couple of "U turns" finding the house! It was great having a garage for the car and able to park it for a couple of days as everything was within walking distance. The breakfasts were superb and the local knowledge in a new city was welcomed help after 30++ hours of flying etc. More than happy to recommend this B&B
