“An Oasis of Calm and Luxury”

This lovely hotel is an oasis in the rather drab suburb of Le Pontet outside Avignon. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in,full of charm and character with excellent staff

“Lovely relaxing get away”

We enjoyed using this hotel as our base for touring Provence. It was difficult to find even with the GPS but we figured it out. The hotel desk linked us up with a great kayaking company on the Sorgue river and a wonderful Provencal town market and a wine tour. Our 2 teenagers loved the indoor pool facility. The spa was excellent. The dinner was outstanding, especially the cheese course. They had a ping pong table and free internet. We got a suite for 4 with an outdoor garden. Outdoor pool excellent, but a bit too chilly in Oct.

“Outstanding Service”

The service was absolutely outstanding. Definitely 5 star standard. Welcoming and helpful. Booked late so very small room, but price reflected that. Breakfast was fine but too expensive for what it was. Wonderful smell of lavender throughout hotel. Would go again but book earlier and have larger room for which happier to pay more. Very well equipped pool and spa.

“séjour de rêve”

Personnel très accueillant, nous avons été surclassés. La piscine extérieure est très agréable et nous avions libre accès au hammam, au sauna et à la piscine du spa. Attention, le petit déjeuner est excellent mais très cher 25 euros.

très bon séjour, l'auberge est au niveau que l'on attend dans une gamme de prix d'un 4*. un petit bémol cependant pour le jaccuzi de la chambre, mieux vaut prendre une prestation au dessous et profiter de la zone spa qui est très agréable.

Great experience. Useful to have an indoor heated pool in winter. Excellent food, wine list and service in restaurant although prices are a bit high.

“très belles préstations mais ne dinez pas et ne déjeunez pas le prix est très élévé”

rien à dire sur l'hôtel, ni sur le personnel, la seule chose qui nous a dérangé c'est le prix du petit déjeuner car nous étions 4 et pour 2 jours nous avons payer 200 euros rien que de petits déjeuner qui n'avaient rien de plus que dans un formule 1 Nous n'avons du coup pas voulu diner à l'hôtel sur toute la durée de notre séjour. Heureusement que nous ne sommes rester que 2 nuits car le petit déj était vraiment chère par rapport à la prestation.

“Some Reservations”

This is a lovely hotel, but if you are staying for longer than a couple of days and unless you are prepared to eat every meal in the hotel (which is expensive) then you will need a car as Le Pontet is a significant distance from Avignon and has no restaurants or places of interest to speak of. (In fact, it is fair to say that Le Pontet is a bit of a dump.) The hotel itself is lovely, the pool and gym facilities are good and the gardens are very pretty. The standard rooms are very small, as are the bathrooms. The restaurant is very good, but expensive.
