When built, this hotel was magnificent. But today, it is no longer maintained. The room air conditioners do not work. And the hotel can not change batteries in the TV remote control units! The breakfast is so poor that my wife will not bother to eat it. What has happened to this hotel?

We had to be at airport in Varna at 4..30am so stayed in Golden tulip the night before We were very impressed with everything about the hotel all the staff welcoming and lovely the room huge and comfortable Because wecwere leaving so early they even gave us a picnic instead of breakfast! We would highly recommend

The Golden Tulip Varna is a modern hotel with large, comfortable rooms with newer furnishings, excellent water pressure (on upper floors), reliable internet and electricity. Room rates are reasonable. The room was quiet. The front door to the hotel was not working well, but staff were ready to help. The hotel is located near transit lines (that I did not use). The neighborhood around the hotel is mixed, with new construction and some old neglected properties. Stores of all kinds are located nearby. I recommend this hotel.

Appears to be newly refurbished. Clean. Staff were polite and friendly. Didn’t use the dining facility as just a short walk (15mins) to town centre but breakfast was good. The area around hotel is not pretty but was on business so not a problem for me.

Conveniently situated in Varna. Stay was business related and the hotel provides everything you need for a short trip. 3 local gyms within 50 metres. 6-8lv per session. Breakfast could offer more choice.

Property is perfectly located in the city center; a five minute walk to the square. Streets are all clearly marked with all “tourist activities “. I felt safe and comfortable walking around the entire neighborhood. The staff was very pleasant and eager to assist.

Well the hotel is quite good tbh but its more like a businessman hotel not really for tourist. breakfast was good but for the price i was expecting home made food not so much industrial food. The room was very good the bed great quality. the breakfast staff was very nice. the reception was helpful but i felt like if i was talking to robots xD

Lovely friendly stay
Super comfortable and clean room. They gave me a fantastic room (702) which had a lovely view of Varna. Reception was super helpful as well at all times. Breakfast was okay, enough choice at all times.

Amazing and friendly staff for the two weeks we stayed. Space was always clean. My only complaint was we went during some Euro Sport conference in Varna and it seemed like everyday another massive team was checking in/out. At one point we had to call the front desk because what appeared to be a middle school team were in half the rooms on our floor and were constantly making noise. At one point left the room to find a group of them camped right outside out door. Not what I would expect at a business hotel l. Besides that would recommend

Nice very spacious clean and tidy rooms, breakfast was good, only issue I had was the hotel restaurant was closed while I was there but it’s not far in a taxi to the port where there are plenty of restaurants. Small store across the road also sell food and drink so not a bad location.

It’s is a very nice hotel and very clean. The beds in my room were very hard. They did not even dip down around my body. It’s like laying on a rock. Everything else was great though.

A great experience
I ckecked in at 4am - the desk were quick to give me my key and point me in the right direction. The room was excellent and very clean. The amenities overall were quite nice, although I would say the shampoo is of better quality than the shower gel. The air conditioning in the room seemed to take a while until it reached my desired temperature, but was okay overall. The mattress is of good firmness and offered a nice night's sleep. Breakfast was of reasonable quality, although it could offer much more choice.

Good choice
Modern hotel close to the cathedral, which is handy for transport to the airport, bus station and Golden Sands. Neighbourhood very safe, but a bit residential, so you'll need to walk 5-10 minutes towards town for shops and restaurants. Would be a good choice for business travellers, but probably less so for those looking for be close to the beach/seaside.

Brilliant stay.....would stay again
I could not fault this Hotel. I was here on business for a few days and throughout my stay I could not fault the hotel staff and the service they gave. The only negative was i could not work my TV, but the WIFI was excellent so did not teally matter. The housekeeping was brilliant and the room was comfortable, clean and peaceful and also large. I would use this hotel again and recommend others to stay. Lovely staff and great food and breakfast.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The receptionist (Vladimir) was very helpful maps and reccomendations for sightseens. with We took the Executive room which was perfect. Minibar prices were very reasonable.We left early so the receptionist brought us packed food to take away. The surrounding neighborhood was not like the tourist zone, but the hotel is 5-10 min walk from the boardwalk. (Pedestrian only street). The room was very quite (although the hotel is on a main street). Parking was great. It is definitely my choice for my next stay in Varna.

I booked this hotel at the last minute, it was a good choice I had a good comfortable stay.It was easy to find it with my phone Google maps .The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good! I was able to park my car right in front and I felt safe..Most likely I d go back if I needed to...

Great restaurant and draft beer in an awesome pub in the basement. Good breakfast, parking conjested but they have a private lot. Rooms are very spacious. Free wifi throughout hotel. No pool.

The Hotel is not a 4 1/2 star hotel. At best it is a 3 star. The amenities were just average. The hotel has only 1 small lift (capacity 4 persons) for a 8 storied hotel which is a big inconvenience.

Best Hotel in Varna!
This hotel was close enough to the airport that a taxi ride was reasonable. The room was beautiful, the bed was awesome, and the view of the Black Sea and the city of Varna was unbelievable, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was within easy walking distance to restaurants (there was even a restaurant below the hotel), shopping, and the famous Sea Gardens by the ocean. The Continental Breakfast was fantastic, had a wide variety of food.
