Hotel needs some renovation and paint.

“It's a convenient location either to the airport or to Vancouver.”

The prices and location are the main reason for me to book the hotel. Although the heater was a bit too loud but I was too tired so had no problem to fall asleep. It was convenient location with lots of coffee shops and just minutes to Bridge port.

“The cleaning service has been better in the past.”

Cleaning service removed dirty items (glasses, cups) but did not replace with clean ones. Usual toiletry items, specifically conditioner, not supplied.

October 2011 stay: Pros: -easy access to airport -mostly quiet except for heater, which we just turned off at night. Not much airport noise. -very helpful front desk -indoor pool and hot tub! -only a 3 block walk to train -FREE wireless internet -convenient to everything -gluten-friendly restaurant (Moxie's) next door Cons: -alge on shower grout, never cleaned off, no biggie to me -typically hard hotel beds -heater sounded like a jet turbine Overall, this was a typical hotel with some outstanding perks like the pool/hot tub, free and reliable wireless internet, and front desk personnel who are eager to help you and are happy to provide local direction and advice. The suburban middle-class neighborhood didn't even remotely strike me as dangerous. The cons are all ignorable or can be worked around unless you're obsessive. I call it a bargain.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, we were on the 8th floor and it was nice and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds appear to be new and are quite firm. I loved the giant pillows on the beds, they are perfect for sitting up in bed to watch TV. We took the free shuttle bus to the airport and back, it runs every half hour, very convenient. The Pantry restaurant was attached to the hotel, they had a great Sunday brunch from 9-2 which served breakfast items until about 11:00 or so then added some lunch items (hot roast beef, salmon, etc). There was also A&W and Tim Horton's across the street and Moxie's next door. It was a short walk to the skytrain station (about 15 mins) but you can take the bus there also, it stops right by the hotel. Parking & wi-fi were free also. No complaints at all, great hotel at a great price. We would definitely stay here again!

“Overall Pretty Good”

Rooms are typical of this price range, comfy beds, clean and tidy. Some of the rooms do include a fridge and microwave some don't, We had our choice during our stay. The pool is indoors and a bit smaller than some and is not heated. The guests we spoke to, and ourselves included, found the water to be too cold to be enjoyable but at least its there if you want to use it. One complaint is that since they have The Pantry Restaurant attached to the building there is no complimentary continental breakfast, you only get a discount at the restaurant instead. This motel is only a block from a bus stop which makes it easy to get to and from the ferry terminal if you are taking the bus. Just make sure you take the non express bus from the ferry terminal as the express goes directly to Bridgeport Station with no stops.

“Good Experience”

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and am always pleased with it. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The location is convenient to airport, shopping, public transportation. Rooms are very nice, comfy bed. Good price.
