“A Vancouver Landmark”

Our recent stay at the Hotel Vancouver was a night to remember. This is a Vancouver landmark where the rich and famous have stayed over the years. The rooms are elegant and so nicely preserved. Location in the heart of Vancouver was wonderful. Staff very obliging and gracious.

“Location, location, location”

The location is great and I enjoyed walking to many places. It is a hotel for older people and the decor is dated but I found it very comfortable and charming.

True to the Fairmont chain the Hotel Vancouver has style and class. And, as with other older hotels, like the Plaza in NYC, it has maintained much of the character. On the flip side of the character coin, this also means a small and dated bathroom. We stayed for just one night and arrived late and left early. So, apart from a drink and snack in the bar, we did not use the hotel's services. The room was clean, spacious and we had a great sleep. You can't ask much more than that during a quick visit. Because it's shoulder season, the price was right, too. A better value than the nearby boutique hotel we usually stay in.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Fairmont and would not even consider staying at another hotel on our next visit to Vancouver.

Stayed in the hotel in early December this year.The hotel is extremely comfortable as are the bedrooms.The beds are a good size and comfortable.The Hotel is close to the shopping and restaurants of all types of food within walking distance

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable. It is well situated for shopping and the Vancouver art gallery, definitely a great location to explore downtown Vancouver - especially if you have limited time.

I loved the Hotel Vancouver. The service staff were really helpful and so friendly. There is no pop machine in the hotel, which was my only complaint, and I had to pay $4 for a pop from the mini bar. Really nice place to stay and I would stay again.

“Great hotel experience in Downtown Vancouver”

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Fairmount Hotel Vancouver. I was on the 9th floor (the club level floor) and the small difference in price was definitely worth it! Breakfast buffet, hors d'heurves between 5-7 pm, coffee/tea/refreshments, free internet, and free local calls were all included in the price of the hotel room. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel on a future stay in Vancouver.
