Value hotel has lost its appeal

Posted 20-Jan-2015
Pros: Location. Close to Stadiums and SkyTrain.
Cons: Fire front desk manager (Andrew Craig) and find someone who believes in customer service.
Location: Yaletown is very close and has ample restaurants and fun bars.
We used to really enjoy this hotel but management has really let this property go downhill. From getting attitude from the shift manager for asking for courtesy toothpaste, to twice-broken hairdryers to broken furniture, to failing to deal with loud guests at 3am, it just seems that management doesn't care any more.

Pet friendly

Posted 15-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to downtown, BC place and Rogers Arena.
Cons: Would have been nice to have continental breakfast included.
We stayed for two nights. The hotel was under renovations so our room was a bit noisy. Would have been nice to have a green area close by for our dog but over all our stay was enjoyable. Nice to have pet friendly rooms. Will stay there again.

Very close to subway station and downtown of Vancouver. It was convenient location. But Bathroom didn't come hot water long times. Also didn't drain on a bathtub. I think just only my room problem.

Pros: location
ok for a single night stay but would not recommend an extended stay. rooms need major updating. when the ice machine in the hall kicked in it sounded like a freight train. walls are thin. great location though for concerts and sporting events.

Nice hotel but needs updating. A little tired.

Posted 13-Jan-2015
Pros: Close to arena
Cons: Updating room and furnishings
Location: Hockey, concerts, shopping and restaurants
Close to arena. Centrally located to everything. Check in time is a bit late for anyone showing up for concerts or games.

Close to all the fun

Great location for any stadium events. Walking distance to everything you need. The room was a bit untidy underneath the bed. Found a whole beer and a ear plug. Ew. Other then that one night was good for what we needed. A bed to sleep. Staff was great. Polite.

No sleep thanks to deafening ice machine

Posted 11-Jan-2015
Great location and comprehensive facilities, but our stay was totally ruined by an horrendous racket coming from the ice machine right outside our door every twenty minutes throughout the night.

Canuck fan

I stay there because it's right across the street from the arena. It's clean and comfortable and I'm only there to sleep. Too bad the shark club was closed but I did get free parking.
