“comparable to others in this price category”
Disappointed in pool.....too cold to swim and too confusing to access from our room. No guess book with directions. Couldn't get our room card to activate the in room safe. Great mattress and sumptuous towels.Very quiet.
“When you go to play poker - the hotel has what you need.”
The room design layout in the main building is rather unique in that the bedroom area has no windows and french doors to ensure a dark quiet room for sleeping. Spacious room with all the necessary amenities. The location is convenient for those traveling by ferry from Victoria as the bus drops and picks you up off at the hotel door. The surrounding neighborhood consists of new buildings on marsh land in the fly over path to the airport. The water views are nice and it is fun to watch the planes fly overhead while sitting outside at the bar area having a drink in on the lounge sofas. The delicious casual buffet dining hall is well worth the visit and as the upscale Italian dining room which has a fantastic menu. There is a handy kiosk across from the convenient coffee shop. Oh and did I forget to mention the great fitness room, pool with water slide and the spa? Plus the Sky train takes you right into Vancouver - for a great city tour, museums, cafés, and great shopping should poker not be your main activity.
“Wonderful place to stay”
Very comfortable room. We were in the new hotel. Brand new, comfortable bed and linens. Spacious bathroom. Really enjoyed our stay. Not enough parking we had to park in casino parking it was a long ways away and it's hard to avoid the cigarette smoke.
“Excellent hotel, not the best location”
The hotel is very nice, but there is almost nothing to do in that area, you need to take the Sky train (which is perfectly connected to the hotel) to go to the down town. That may be OK if you do not have kids. The pool is excellent, the service is outstanding.

“Great location & amazing bang for your buck!”
This Resort & Hotel is in an amazing location; close enough to downtown Vancouver (about 15 minutes), close to a 250-store Mall (Richmond Centre) & FREE PARKING! Though the marina view is not the best (don't pay extra for this, it's a view of an industrial marsh), the amount you pay for a hotel room, executive suite or suite is totally worth it. Besides, the rooms are SO GORGEOUS you will keep the sheer drapes closed, still let plenty of light in & enjoy your interior environment. The thoughtful & beautifully designed rooms / living room / bathroom are timeless, clean & comfortable. We stayed in an Executive Suite (10th floor = requires room key to access this floor) for 1 night; sunken living room with sofa/ desk/ flat screen & 16' ceiling, double doors to the bedroom w/ flat screen & bathroom with top notch amenities. We decided to stay another night & stayed in a 1-Bedroom Suite (9th floor). It looked and felt exactly the same as the Executive Suite, homey & clean; just no sunken living room with 16' ceilings. There are some cons, however these did not affect the overall satisfaction of our stay. These are "just cons". Buffet is not great, but there is a 24hr food court in the casino (American, Chinese & Italian food). Though parking is free, you have to share it with the guests that are just visiting the casino for the evening. I definitely recommend this resort & will stay here again. Hotel staff is very personable & professional. Enjoy!!
“very nice”
great place to stay. only down fall not much around in surrounding walking distance area.
“Perfect Bed!”
Recently returned from Vancouver....The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was perrrrfect! We slept like babies! The floor in bathroom is slippery....and the tub is deep and difficult to get into if you have mobility problems. Internet slow, but available. Excellent black out curtains...Buffet expensive...found good food inside the casino. Slots are tight don't expect to win. Staff is friendly. Wasn't able to locate the pool....and parking is wayyyy out if you use the free parking.....no parking in vancouver is free...You must purchase parking at a meter and display in your car....we were ticketed as we had no idea! Good location....Deal compared to other prperties in Vancouver, and train into the city.
“Very Comfortable Room”
Enjoyed the casino and Hotel great fun atmosphere
“Great Location for the Vancouver Weather”
The room I was given was great for the price. It had a large bathroom, good sized living room, and comfortable bedroom. It was finished nicely, except the carpeting which is in need of changing. Vancouver has a lot of rain, but because there is a train stop connected to the hotel, you do not have to be in the rain at anytime from the airport. It is easy and cheap to get downtown due to the convenient train station as well. My only complaint is the area. I like to be able to walk to various restaurants, supermarkets, etc. when staying at a hotel, but from what I could tell, there was not of this around the immediate area. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as it seems the most reasonable for the price around the airport if you want above a 3 star hotel.
