“very happy with the hotel and service”
very clean and tidy premises. courteous and helpful staff
“The hotel was really good to go to sleep , but far from the downtown”
The personal are working in the front desk that They need to be polite.
“Friendly staff too far from public transit”
A great place to stay. The hotel staff was friendly and informative about the tourist attractions. You have to get down early to grab breakfast becuase there are limited muffins and orange juice. The hotel is far away from the nearest metro station but one can take a bus to the metro station. the bus stop is only 3mins walk from the hotel.
“Good for the price”
We didn't have much time to plan for our trip and it was still considered summer time so prices for all the other hotels were skyrocketing. We booked this hotel expecting for the worst, but we came in to the hotel with a surprise. The room was clean (I've been in much worse ones with the same price) with coffee maker and clean bathroom. The hotel prepared simple breakfast every morning that was quite sufficient for us. It may not be in walking distance from shops or restaurants, but there's the Quay Market within a short drive.
“A very clean, cheap motel”
While cramped and obviously on the cheaper end of the spectrum, the Happy Days Inn was exceptionally clean, and had plenty of parking space. We stayed one night. The room was a little cramped, and the air conditioner was loud, but it was comfortable enough, and for an excellent price.
“Rustic but clean”
If you are only looking for the basics: a clean bed and bathroom, and a secure room, it fits the bill. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. If you are just looking for a place to lay your head and keep your stuff it's perfect. If you are looking for a more luxurious experience then you will want something in a higher price point.
“The price is right and you get what you pay for!”
The service was good. This is not a 5 star hotel, however considering the price it was OK. Perhaps the breakfast could be improved upon.
“Difficile a trouver malgré un plan simple , dans un quartier calme ....bon plan !”
Un hotel simple mais sympha.
“Good budget hotel”
The hotel itself is ok if you want to save money on accomodation - you even get free parking. The room could be a bit cleaner, but it was not bad at all though. Service was pleasant and down to earth. Would recommend if you're ok with staying far from downtown Vancouver or have business in Burnaby.
“Happy Day Inn.”
Clean and tidy, helpful local staff. Good public transport to get to and from, bus 106.
