I stayed for a work trip. The nearby Staples was a bonus, room service was good, the site is clean and quiet and I had a kitchenette, and very affordable. Will stay again,and recommend.

Overall good stay. The faucet was pretty dated for how pricey the hotel is, and the tub stopper didnt fully fit so it kept draining during my bath. Pretty minor issues though, so not detrimental.

I am sorry that you do not feel the same.As for the concerns that you outlined we do sell bottled water in the lobby level. We have both a beverage and snack machine available for guests. We do not offer slippers and don't advertise that we do. Our fitness area is large, bright and has new equipment. There are multiple treadmills, bicycles and other equipment. I am sorry if these were not sufficient for your workout needs.Have a wonderful day.

The pictures of this property are way nicer than the actual rooms. Parts of the rooms have been renovated, however our bathroom was dated and very musty smelling. The common hallways are very dated. We were disappointed in this property and would stay somewhere else in the vicinity next time.

Coffee is also available in our in-house restaurant 'Acqua' (as well as Breakfast) from 6:30am - 9:30am weekdays. We do also have a snack vending machine in the Lobby. We are sorry to hear that you were unaware of these options and do hope that you will stay with us again.

Thank you for staying with us Katherine. I am sorry to see and confused by you giving s a 2/5 rating, however. You complain about an early check-in not being allowed, yet you did receive a complimentary early check-in. I can see in our system that you were checked in at 2:30pm with no additional fees, yet our check-in time is 3:00pm. I can also see that free parking was granted, due to you complaining at check-in that you were unaware of a parking fee, even though our 12 nightly parking fee is clearly stated on Expedia.Please call the Hotel, if you wish to make it a bit more clear for us as to why you have given us such a low rating.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and for good reason. Previously, I booked a queen jacuzzi suite in March 2023 and did like it. This time I booked a king jacuzzi suite and was even more impressed. The suite was very clean, well kept and overall better than the queen jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi tub was larger and I enjoyed using it after a long day of exploring Vancouver. The view of the city and Skytrain was nice. If you are sensitive to noise, perhaps a suite at the back of the building will be better. The Skytrain does bustle by during the night and can be disturbing. The bed was comfortable and the overall layout of the suite was great. It was nice to have a microwave in the room to avoid ordering in all the time. Fantastic options nearby in terms of dining, shopping and travel (Save On Foods, Tim Horton's, Cactus Club Cafe, Shoppers Drug Mart, The Amazing Brentwood etc., two Skytrain stations- Gilmore, Brentwood Town Centre) all within walking distance. There is an onsite restaurant and bar as well (Acqua). Never tried it, but looks appealing.The gentleman at the front desk during check in was very friendly. In addition, the price for booking a five night stay at this hotel was reasonable. Will definitely stay again.

Overall our stay was okay. Staff at check in did not provide a wifi code, but we got it the next morning in the restaurant. Room 223 needs a paint job to bring it up to par. No room service menu either. Although they tried to do something neat by having the glass blocks in the hallways, it creates extra light all night long in the living room area of the suites and it allows for more noise. The hide a bed is not a hide a bed. It is a torture bed. That is the thinnest hide a bed I have ever experience. I seriously have bruising on my hips from sleeping on the bed. Do NOT plan to use the hide a bed cause any child is going to be up all night til 2am once the noise stops and will wake again by 7am once all the noise of doors starts again. Unless of course you are someone who can sleep through construction!!

We do have them advertise the modest 12 nightly charge. When you say that the Jacuzzi was dirty, may I get more details from you. I don't see any notes on your booking that you had any concerns or that you contacted the Front Desk to have the issue resolved. As for the rodents concerns please be aware that we do have a stringent pest control program in the hotel. As for rodents outside of the property there is not much that we can do. Please got to YouTube and watch some of the news videos that show that this is a problem in the entire lower mainland.Have a nice day.

Thank you for staying with us and we are sorry for the issues that you encountered during your stay. Room attendants simply cannot wait until 11:00/check out time to begin cleaning rooms, or they would never all be completed by check-in time. Always place the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, if you are still in the room. Many Guests simply leave the hotel without stopping by the front desk to check-out, so without the DND sign on the door, staff are unsure if the room is still occupied or not. We absolutely do apologize for the room being short a wine glass and for the coffee pot not being cleaned properly. Regarding the shampoo & conditioner...the bottles do sometimes arrive from the manufacturer less than full, so this may have made them appear to be 'used' but I assure you that they were not.

Unfortunately there is limited choice in Burnaby especially given the population and buildings going up. Good value is a problem at the hotels I’ve stayed at in the area. I tried this one this time and it was mediocre at best. The room was very dim and dated. The heater/ac was right next to the bed and the fan was blowing directly onto it. More competition in the area would hopefully better value.

Not the greatest place to stay for 180$ per night. This hotel had staff who were not overly friendly rooms are old, beds are not comfortable. The sky train is literally outside the door, so the noise was unbearable. Rats were running all over the parking area which was concerning. Staff did not ask how our stay was as I would have expected. Will Nevert Stay here again

Many of our Guest have commented in the past that they love our mattresses and they are relatively new, so we are sorry to hear that you did not find them to be comfortable. The skytrain is a few hundred meters away from the building, and not "literally outside the door", as you claim. Having it within walking distance of the Hotel is, however, a major draw for many of our Guest, as it makes getting around very convenient. Again, do we apologize for your dissatisfaction, any part that we may have played in that, and wish you all the best.
