This property is located in a convenient place, with short distances to a metro station, bus stops, a shopping center, and many diverse foods. In the meantime, it is very quiet at night. The room we stayed were clean and the staffs were friendly. We booked a two-bed room and it was featured with a small kitchen, microwave and a refrigerator. There was a free self-parking spot next to the property. There were few small issues including the water pressure was quite low at the bathroom (but it was ok in other places); the wifi signal was very weak for the inner bedroom; the breakfast place provided excellent food, but may consider improve the vent fan -- we became quite smelly after the cook made eggs for the guests. Other than that, it was a great stay. We look forward to staying again.

The property is very charming and the rooms are well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Definitely will recommend it. The only problem was the water pressure in the bathroom sink in the Oak room, there was almost no water flow.

Cambie Lodge Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful historic building in a very attractive tree-lined neighbourhood filled with beautiful historic buildings near City Hall in Vancouver, B.C. Three good restaurants are a two-minute walk from Cambie Lodge B&B, and half a dozen more restaurants are within a five minute walk, including Michelin-guide Vij's. Cambie Lodge has been intelligently refurbished to provide modern amenities while keeping the historic charm inside and out. Everything was extremely clean and very well organized. The furniture was solid. The comfortable mattresses are firm yet springy. The beds have fluffy duvets, and the duvet covers, sheets, and pillow cases are all of pleasantly crisp cotton. Both of the cooks who take turns making breakfast for the guests bake flaky, buttery, melt-in-your mouth croissants every morning and do short-order breakfasts by request from fresh ingredients. Their fluffy succulent omelettes are a real treat, and their french toast is a new favourite. The cooks and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. In particular, Bernice the main concierge, is outstanding, and her well-organized Guest Book is an extremely useful guide to helpful resources, to many restaurants, to local attractions, to Vancouver highlights and is cross-referenced to subsets of geographical areas. Our first visit to Cambie Lodge B&B was for four days in mid-February 2024, and Cambie Lodge B&B is now our pick for future visits to Vancouver.

Pros: Great Breakfast, off street parking, location Cons: Room had dirty walls and carpet, burnt out light bulbs, shower scalds if someone flushes a toilet, sink is beside bed instead of in bathroom, chipped, old furniture and bedding, yard had a car in it that has probably been there for 10 years and a boat.

Located in a neighborhood beautiful tree lined sidewalks, classic old house. Our basement had a two bedroom bathroom kitchenette so it was really great for a family, but we have moved past that time in our lives.

I was in the area early and I appreciated it very much that I was allowed to drop off my luggage before my check-in. As I had a stressful day, the room was a very welcome and comfortable refuge for me. Had a good night rest and breakfast was superb.

I didn't give this a full 5 star rating compared to the other room that I stayed in the previous night for a few reasons. Considering that this is more expensive than the other room (it can occupy 3 guests), this room did not have an electric fan and kleenex which I appreciated the most in the other room. Just the same, we had a good night sleep and breakfast remained superb.

Good alternative to hotels in residential area.
Easy check in, except that street parking instructions were not provided clearly. We arrived at 10pm and all indicated hotel parking was full. The self check-in instructions did not say say anything about street parking. We found street parking nearby, and thankfully it was Friday night and the spot was ok for Saturday as well. We only noticed when we left the next morning that there was a sheet with street parking in very small print posted at the front door. It would have been nice if it was provided to guests right up front or at least included in the instruction sheet. We were surprised to find a nice balcony connected to our room. But since we stayed only for one night we didn't use it. The lack of air conditioning was something I didn't notice when I booked. Window shades are very light so be prepared to wake early. Overall it was fine considering the price as it was in a nice calm neighbourhood.

Just a weekend stay but checked all the boxes. Room was very clean and close proximity to all amenities. Bed was a little hard for me but with everything else it offered i overlooked it.

We have 4 people. The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are excellent and ready to help. Breakfast is just awesome with different types of eggs for you to choose. All are cooked immediately according to your requirements. The chefs incharge of BF are marvelous. In sum, an enjoyable place to stay in Vancouver.

I needed to find a place close to Vancouver General Hospital, and the staff went out of their way to find me a room at the last minute (very much appreciated). The house is lovely, and very quiet even though it's right off of busy Cambie Street. The cook-to-order breakfast was excellent - Many thanks!

Great location, a few blocks from the skytrain. Charming house and room. Excellent communcation and easy check in/out. Very comforatable bed, with lovely balcony. Some fixtures a little dated but overall a very enjoyable stay.

Nice little B&B in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of things within walking distance. Only complaint I had were that the furnishings in the room were a bit dated and that the walls/floors are a bit thin so you can hear people moving about.
