“Great Place to Stay”

Love staying there..close to airport,quiet, clean and close to everything. Easy access to highways for going places. Close to shoppng malls and restaurants. Nice spacious rooms that are kept clean everyday as well as good service from the front desk. Will stay there again.

“Mostly good but one big error”

The hotel staff were very friendly in person. We took a shuttle to the nearest sky train station and the outgoing shuttle service was very easy. However, they do not pick up guests from the same sky train station. Instead, you're told to take the train to the airport and go get the shuttle from the arrivals deck. Annoying, but not a huge deal. Except when we got to the airport at midnight, called, and were told 15 minutes. We called again after 20 minutes to again be told 10 to 15 minutes, there was a "delay". After another 20 minutes I called again and he said it would be there any minute. 15 more minutes later, a shuttle bus from another hotel arrived and said he could take us. The walk from the sky train station to the hotel would have been shorter than how long we waited! Plus, the employee answering the phone was rude and short with myself and my partner. All in all it was a 2 hour delay which was never explained. The next day we just walked back from the station. Otherwise, service was good, room was clean, bed was comfy.

Dining

The river rock casino at the sky train station has a decent buffet. It cost the same as breakfast at Denny's but was way better. Plus they randomly gave us free breakfast vouchers when we came in. Worth a try!

“Great value”

“Good value, quiet, a little distant though”

Stayed here for a long weekend in September. Our main reason for picking this hotel was it's close to the airport, had a kitchenette, free internet and free parking. Our first room was a non-smoking room but it reaked of serious cigarettes. I requested another room and they were more than happy to not just stick us in another one but let us 'sniff out' which one we wanted. Staff was very freindly in all regards, helpfull with directions, etc. However the shuttle service wasn't as prompt as it advertises. And one of our shuttles broke down on the way to the airport. A little scary but the driver finally got it started and we made it. There are still ongoing renovations but they werent too much of a bother. If you are open to staying in a hotel thats not in the middle of all the Vancouver action then this is a good place. It has close Translink access and is only 10 minutes from the airport.

“Okay hotel close to airport”

We booked into this hotel the night before a flight. It met our needs - clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. There was nothing outstanding about the hotel, nor anything particularly wrong with it. The noise of the traffic on the nearby freeway kept us awake for some time (we were attempting to go to sleep at 7pm when traffic is still heavy), although by late evening it had settled down considerably. Okay for a place to stay the night before a flight if you don't want to spend a fortune. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient.

“Just OK.”

room is clean, got everthing I need, but there is no air flow in the room because of the design of the biulding. I would rather stay at somewhere else if just spend 10 to 20 dollars more per night.

“Always reliable & affordable- best deal near YVR”

Great location close to Vancouver International Airport, love the free 24/7 shuttle. Fast, easy check-in, room clean & nicely stocked with everything needed like hair dryer, iron & board, kitchenette. Just realized they have an indoor hot tub! Wish I'd had time for it. Only problem encountered was the free internet in the lobby, the computer kept dying so tough to get email out. Otherwise, another positive experience in the big city.

A good value, esp. for the price. Very helpful staff. Very clean. Convenient, free 24 hr. shuttle to airport and to Skytrain. Recently renovated facility. Will return in the future and will recommend to friends.

“Served its purpose”

Rooms were clean and we were comfortable but I just was not happen when front desk needed to talk to me they locked me out of room til i went to front desk. could have been handled better
