“brilliant hotel”
Stayed in the upper room. It was fantastic. Room was clean on arrival. Had no issues at all with staff, most of them spoken english and helped with any queries. I would stay at this hotel again as it was surpurb. the food is great and has a great lounge bar.

service hotelier très agréable. après un petit contre-temps à l'arrivée (chambre indisponible car problème de tuyauterie...) le surclassement a été fort apprécié et nous a permis de profiter de notre séjour. Contraste étonnant entre la salle de restaurant (en terrasse, ambiance moderne), et les chambres (beaucoup plus classiques). La peinture des murs des couloirs était en cours à notre départ, ce qui devrait harmoniser le tout et apporter une touche plus moderne. bref, je recommande cet hotel pour un séjour à valence
“Valencia, Spain Best place to stay”
I thought this hotel was centrally placed within walking distance of a lot of major sites. From check-in to check-out the staff was helpful, courteous and attentive to our even whim. They even weighed our luggage for us to make sure we would not go over the airport limits.
“Great hotel and location”
I am very happy to have the opportunity to stay at the Astoria Palace. The location is really convenient and right in the city center. The LV and Loewe stores are just right behind the hotel - perfect for me. The hotel had been recently re-opened in 2011 after a refurbishment and the lobby looks grand and comfortable. I would definitely return for another stay anytime soon.
“Excellent location and service.”
Excellent hotel, both in terms of it's central location and quality of service. Very easy to find - under 10 mins from Colon metro station and in a turning off of the central Ajuntament plaza. Google map diretcions are accurate, when you reach the central Ajuntament plaza - you will see the big fountain - turn right at Burger King and then take the next right at the candy shop. Staff friendly and helpful. English spoken. Standard double and twin rooms are a decent size (twin beds have more room space) but that didn't matter as there is so much to see in Valencia, would not be in the hotel for long. Bathroom is spacious. Best part of the hotel deal was the excellent buffet breakfast. Huge choice of fresh fruit, breads, pastries, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, salad items and a made to order cooked breakfast of your choice. Would love to stay here again in future. Thanks to all staff for a lovely holiday.
“Excellent location and fantastic breakfast with views over the rooftops of Valencia”
The hotel is well located and within easy walk of the metro station which is on a direct line from the airport. The room was clean and spacious with free water supplies in the minibar and a whirlpool bath. Breakfast was fantastic with roof top views over Valencia and a wide array of fresh and tasty food.

It's right in the middle of the historic district of valencia. Great location. Public Parking right across the streets. Everything in the historic district is walking distance. The hotel itself is extremely nice. Great rooms, clean. Highly recommended.
“four star rating was deserved”
Modern, clean, large room, the staff was very helpful, check in was easy. Our companions had a room with a noisy air conditioner, and it was changed immediately. Nice ammenities-bottled water each day, robe and slippers. Wish we had stayed in Valencia longer.
“Would stay there again and recommend to all”
This hotel was certainly among the best we stayed in during our five weeks away. It was within walking distance to the railway station and bus stops. There were numerous restaurants and tapas bars in the area. Central to the city area and still a very quiet area. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a 5 star hotel with very reasonable rates.
“Will return”
Most pleasant hotel with every ammenitie. A very nice touch was the welcome - a small bowl of strawberries left in the room after arrival. Water was available in the mini bar both sparkling and still and free of charge for the occupants use. All staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast were fantastic with just about anything available and should just about please everyones taste.
