“great experience”

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was very good. We have paid a lot more at other hotels in Valemount. We were not wanting to go swimming but it looked like a nice place for a family to spend time to unwind on a day spent driving.

“The man in the PJ pants.”

Everything was very good. My husband went to bring the car around and I was going to check out. There was no one behind the desk, and a man wearing pajama pants was hanging around. I just returned the key cards to a container on the counter and left. I hope there wasn't anything I needed to sign or to charge on my credit cards. Maybe robes could be provided so people wouldn't have to come to the desk in a pair of pj pants. Or have another attendant so the front desk is always covered.

“Everything was perfect”

The girl at the front desk was one of the most helpful and courteous people I have ever met. Strongly suggest you stay here if you are in town.

“Valemont Ramada”

The staff were very friendly and helpful The room was not large but was comfortable. On the negative side, the television reception was poor and the stairway needed vacuuming. Otherwise, the stay was good and the motel looked to have an excellent pool/water slide complex although we did not use it.

“Not impressed in Valemount!”

The hotel was clean and quiet, the room was very small for 3 people and did not have a bar fridge? A couple of minor things, the safe in the room did not work and the card key stopped working the first day we were there.

“Not bad.”

Our room was clean and in good shape. Bathroom clean. Eleavator dirty. Nobody at front counter-we had to call out every time we had a desk question. Breakfast was good. Did not like that they did not have a cancellation policy. For that reason I woulld not book there again. Also price is high compared to similar hotels.

“Nice hotel, needs a little maintainance”

Room was more than we expected -- got a two bedroom suite which was lovely with two small kids. But some things were obviously in need of repair -- flooring from hallway to bathroom was not finished, so carpet edge was loose and frayed. Pool was small but nice. Hot tub jets weren't working and it was in need of resurfacing. No toilets in immediate swimming area and the toilet in lobby were both out of order, which became a problem when the three year old announced "I have to go pee!" while in swimming pool and we had to make a rush to room on 2nd floor. Continental breakfast room was neat with booths, although only one staff was having to manage entire breakfast for an entire hotel full of tourists that had to catch their bus at the same time (she did well, but would have helped to have two people). Beds were rather hard. Other than all of that (which was relatively minor) -- great stay!
