I stayed at the Alpenblick Superior for one night while in Zermatt. The hotel was conveniently located to the main train station, old town, shopping and dining. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. Free breakfast very good with both hot and cold options. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location close to the Matterhorn Glacier Gondola. Easy walk from the train station even with luggage. We had an amazing view of the Matterhorn from the top floor.

The property and service was lovely. The access to the private sauna was amazing and the breakfast quality and variety was excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Also, the view of the Matterhorn from the balcony was perfect and stunning.

My stay was comfortable. It was very close to the lift. Only a 5 minute walk. Breakfast everyday was great too. Would stay there again next time I visit, definitely!

The only reason for the 4 stars is because I found rooms quite small and that you could hear noises from the corridor and rooms next door.

This hotel is truly one-of-a-kind, boasting an incredible history. My room was spacious, the bathroom was fantastic, and everything was impeccably clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a departure from the usual.

A beautiful place to stay with a nice large clean room right in the middle of town so convenient to restaurants and shops. Great extensive breakfast.

Amazing apartment. Full view of the Matterhorn. Breathtaking scenery from the patio. Loved the facility. Special shout out to Carol or Karol (??)..the lady at the front desk. Absolute gem of a person and employee. Incredibly intuitive, helpful and took care of little things without being asked. A true treasure in the hospitality industry. I hope she goes far in this industry.

We did not make any cancellation to our booking to our room. The train to Zermatt from Visp was delayed by 7 hours due to avalanche. So we were rushing and trying to catch the earliest train to the hotel in Zermatt. Upon arriving the hotel, we were told by the hotel staff that The room we booked has been cancelled. And we were stunned that the hotel staff, assumed that we are not coming. Then we were put up in a single room without any in built toilet, which is not the same room that we booked. Furthermore this small room is also equally expensive as a better rooms. This is very disappointing and terrible experience staying in this hotel. We feel that the hotel staff should be more understanding that we were busy travelling and unlikely to respond immediately. So far our hotel experiences in Switzerland have been wonderful except for this case. Thanks

First time in Zermatt. Hotel is walking distance from the train station but it can be a bit challenging if you have more than just carry-ons due to the cobblestone streets. However, there are plenty of taxis available. Location is very convenient if you're going to see Matterhorn. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful even when the rail lines had temporarily closed due to an avalanche. They kept us updated on the status of the train departures. Room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but who needs fancy when you'll be spending more time outside. Will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our week stay at the Alpenblick. Excellent location for skiing and viewing the Matterhorn. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great each morning. We will definitely be coming back.

You can walk right to the Matterhorn Paradise gondola, less than five minutes. Great breakfast buffet with lots of variety. A lot of warmth and charm, though it is an uphill walk about ten minutes to the main drag

We took Glacier Express to Zermatt and stayed here for 1 night only. As it’s first day of January, it’s very difficult to book a hotel room, luckily we booked this. We got 2 big luggages and 2 backpacks, it took us around 20 mins to walk from the station to the hotel. However, when we saw the Matterhorn from our hotel room on the next day morning, we thought it’s worth of it.
