This is a beautiful 5* hotel with the most helpful and kind staff and amazing food, would highly recommend the La Muna restaurant. However, the clientele staying here were clearly not happy to see a family with small children (well behaved ones may I add) enjoying the same facilities as them, particularly in the spa and lounge areas. The staff however were wonderful and made us feel very welcome, but just something to bear in mind if you are travelling with small children.

Good service, bad forest view rooms
Service was excellent. Forest rooms are very small, view is bad with people in the street being able to see inside the room. Not recommended.

Excellent property with fabulous staff
I wanted to start the year of in a relaxing way and decided to book a four night stay to indulge in spa treatments and just relax. All the staff were excellent, from the contact prior to my stay to my arrival, throughout my stay and leaving too. Very polite warm welcoming individuals. The only thing I would change would be the food in the restaurant and room service particularly as I am gluten free and there were limited options. Everything else was perfect and I would definitely go back again for a summer experience rather than a winter snowy break.

Elegant modern style, amazing staff and breathtaking views, Coupled with one of the best spa facilities I have seen in a hotel (particularly gym and pool size). Very few things can beat dinner on their terrace (I think I can eat that truffled pizza and burattina with yellow gazpacho) any day of the year. All in all a wonderful experience (and we had a fortune of visiting the hotel four time in one month....) The only thing to note is that room size varies quite a bit between various room types, so I would read the description carefully before booking.

I have try to cancel a wrong reservation for the last two months and still shows active, and will try to charge my Amex witch I will dispute. Front desk very unhelpful. And not knowledgeable

Hard to leave the hotel...
I really enjoyed the comfort of the room. Amazing view on the mountains. After a ski day you can enjoy a drink at the terrasse by the fire pit looking at the amazing sunset (or see the snow fall ;) multiple choices of restaurants if you don’t want to leave the hotel. And the Spa has an amazing pool.

We stayed at the Crans Ambassador over a long weekend and particularly liked the fact that the hotel is very child friendly. Our daughter was given a welcome gift upon arrival, her own child-sized robe and slippers and really enjoyed her time at the swimming pool after skiing. The pool is always available to children (I think some other areas of the spa are reserved for adults during certain hours) and they have foam floats and noodles. The staff were courteous and genuinely eager to help. Weeks before we arrived, the concierge provided me via email all the information needed regarding ski lessons, ski hire, transportation etc. They actually arranged our lessons and we got all the equipment from the sports shop adjacent to the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room on the 7th floor (same floor as the reception), it was lovely and reasonably spacious with its own little terrace with mountain views. There was a good variety at breakfast, my daughter particularly liked the crepes and pancakes. The closest ski lift is 5' walk and it takes you to the nursery slopes where a lot of the ski schools have a meeting point. We had arranged for the ski instructor to meet us outside the hotel the first day. You can get ski passes at the hotel (but only for a full day). You can get half day passes from the tills near the ski lift. The hotel is closest to Montana, about a 10' walk but the hotel shuttle is usually available to take you / pick you up (we didn't have a car).

Spectacular mountain views from a modern hotel
The hotel is very modern and has spectacular views of the mountains. Very good breakfast buffet. Concierge support was very kind and efficient. Rooms are rather small and have no air conditioning, getting difficult to cool the room in hot summer days. Location is not at walking distance from restaurants and other points of interest. The hotel compensates it with a shuttle service that worked for us very well as occupancy was low.

Stayed during a very busy half term week. Hotel coped superbly - service never faltered. Special mention to the hotel ski shop staff who were exceptionally kind and patient. Only minor niggle was dinner. Food very good quality but eye wateringly expensive.

Overall good, some room renovation wouldn’t hurt. The breakfast buffet was lean especially in salty choices and the scrambled eggs ordered seemingly not from fresh eggs… Very friendly and helpful staff.
