Value for money. Room felt newly renovated. Bed big and comfortable. No fridge which I like to have. Arrived at Part Dieu railway station and due to large suitcases caught a taxi which cost 20 euro. Once at the hotel it is close to the metro. Loved Lyon and enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

The perfect place for a couple of days. Thanks to the public transport system, you can get anywhere, and it doesn't cost the earth. The area is safe, a supermarket is next door and Valmy metro station is opposite the entrance. The kitchenette is well-equipped and there is free wi-fi. If I go back to Lyon, I'll definitely stay there again!

Modern and generally clean. Well located for business purposes but a bit out of the way for tourist attractions. Staff helpful and friendly, amenities good and a decent breakfast included in the price. Room was quite spacious but there were already one or two signs of wear and tear appearing despite the hotel being (reportedly) only about 9 months old.
I am a long-time fan of Holiday Inn, I have come to trust that every stay will be a great one and this hotel was no different! The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was very clean! We were expecting to pay for parking, however they do have a free parking option on the roof which was a very nice surprise! Breakfast was AMAZING!
Our "room" was larger than anything we have had in England or France so far. The room actually had a separate bedroom & living room/kitchen area with lots of closet space. It was close to the Metro station, though we didn't find many restaurants nearby. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, our primary concerns. Kitchen area was equipped. They only cleaned once per week (we stayed 3 nights) which was fine with us since we kept it clean and don't mind using same towels for a few days, same as we would at home. We would stay here again if we were ever to come back to this area.
This hotel/motel is great for a couple or a single person staying a few nights. We were 3 adults and it was squishy! The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. The bathroom is similar to a camping trailer bathroom in size and feel (plastic floor/wall) but adequate. The simple breakfast was great and you can get a discount on your meals if you eat next door at their higher end hotel/restaurant (same family chain). I would recommend this hotel if you have a vehicle or don't mind a steep hike up/down the hill to the bus stop.
Formerly part of the Roman settlement Lugdunum, Vaise runs along the Saône's western bank just north of the A6 highway. Residences and commercial space mix around the Vaise train station. Underneath the station, the D Line can take visitors directly into Vieux Lyon to explore Lyon's past. Shops and restaurants can be found along the neighborhood's Rue de Bourgogne.
