The product is very good but its location is not near the city. The restaurant is good, the breakfast is good, only they could chill the oranges they use for their fresh orange juice or put an ice bucket next to it. The room is okay, it’s standard. The check in staff could do with an overall training in what is good service,,

System of parking should be improved. Guests should be provided a card that is valid for the whole stay. It is not comfortable when you need to go with every ticket to the lobby and ask for charge. It happened to me that the ticket released by the receptionist didn´t open me a bar, I have blocked the area without possibility to ring to the lobby. It was very unpleasant and I lost some time.

Birthday vacation in Europe
The hotel was spotless and comfortable. During our stay, the train system went down in Amsterdam, and the clerk at the front desk Lisa went above and beyond to assist me and my sister in getting the train to our next stop in Paris she was accommodating with our stay at the hotel. The room with the bathroom and shower was very comfortable and clean.

Pleasant, clean business trip...
I stayed here for three nights on business. Overall the hotel was clean, although slightly shabby (stains in corridor carpets etc.) in places. The staff were absolutely lovely and all spoke perfect English (unlike my Dutch!). The room was clean and comfortable on the whole, although the headboard was a little grubbier than I'd have liked. Facilities were fine and there were no nasty surprises. Mini bar is refreshingly free in the 'luxury' rooms. The bar downstairs had some great beer and the restaurant served reasonable food. Breakfast was as big as you'd like with loads of options. The situation of the hotel isn't really great unless you're there for something specific, although you can get to and from the hotel via a very nearby bus stop. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would not have a problem selecting it again.

What a joy!
As a wheelchair user I was pleasantly surprised by the level of maturity the whole staff showed towards me. They helped me when asked, they waited for me to ask and they treated me as if I was not much different than any other guest. From reception to maintenance, they made me feel welcome and not helpless. Thank you!

Modern, uptodate hotel, close to motorway and useful for business travellers. No amenities, restaurants nearby within walking distance apart from McDonalds! No amenities. Staff, reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms as expected for modern hotel, dry clean etc. Only downside of room was 'bathroom extractor fan' which was very noise, operated continuously 24 hours per day and not controlled by light switch - although mentioned to reception staff who tried to infer that it could be changed by control next to air con, not true. Ended up blocking the vent with tissue to stop the noise thro the night anddisturbing sleep

Very impressies overall. Very friendly staff. Heated smoking area outside. 1 very negative point. If you go out at night and have to get back in, it's a nightmare! You have to ring the bell multiple times an de took up to 10 min at one time to get someone to open the door. At one point the desk clerk walked towards me while I was pushing the bell and walked away. This should have been a keycard access so hotel guests can easily enter and exit the property.

Comfort level is nice. Free Parking, WiFi worked well on the fourth floor. Room was exactly as advertised :) Enjoyed the jets in the tub. There is one negative, the hot breakfast items were cold at 0930. But there are places in the area to receive breakfast. The staff is helpful. Nice hotel is you are staying for more than one night as well.

Van Der Valk/Amersfoort
This is the third time we've stayed at Van Der Valk/Amersfoort. To me, it's a boutique-y hotel. Very upbeat. All the best in accommodations and breakfast. Their wi-fi is faster than most places we've stayed in Europe. Love exploring this medieval city. Van Der Valk/Amersfoort will be our 'go to' hotel in Amersfoort!!

The hotel was fantastic. Very new and oozing with poshness. The restaurant was excellent. We checked in late at night after 10pm, but the reception were very helpful and recommended pizza since the kitchen had closed. It turned out to be very delectable and sumptuous. Only slight disadvantage was the location as it is not near to city center.

Smart hotel suitable for business and leisure
This hotel provides stylish accommodation both for those visiting the locality on business and also cost conscious tourists who are unwilling to pay the high prices in Central Amsterdam. A car is a must though. Amersfoort is ideally located to reach most parts of the Netherlands in one day. Amsterdam is about 30 mins away.
