Our room was 87’ upon walking in Had to open window and put air conditioner on in February The fire detector was beeping and the front desk requested me to take it off the ceiling and remove battery I had to get on chair and bed 2x because it was hard wired Bathroom was small very small and when going into the bathroom at night found what looked like little sugar ants crawling around on the floor.

Room was hot and did not cool down quickly but I was able to get to sleep okay. The smoke detector was out of the wall and missing its 9 volt battery (really, someone needed a 9 volt battery that desperately?) but the staff person quickly came up and fixed it. Room was otherwise clean and convenient.

You pretty much get what you pay. It is a value hotel. You pay a cheap price for a bed and that’s what you get. I thought the room was clean enough although it didn’t smell the best. The walls are very thin. Other than that it was fine. The staff is friendly, it’s right off the expressway and the bagel place in front is fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the room was secure. I slept well. I needed a cheap place to spend the night and that’s what I got. If I needed a quick stop in Utica again I’d come back.

There was bed bugs and when I said something to them the lady said it wasn’t her problem and didn’t offer another room or even to refund any of my money I will never stay there again and don’t recommend anyone to stay there

We stayed here one night. The room was clean and well maintained. The hair dryer was missing and the bed was too hard for my liking. Only thing that made our stay uncomfortable were the other guests that were young kids, were partying and using cannabis and the smell infiltrated our room. Otherwise, it was a good room.

Not bad for what you're paying for
Overall, it really wasn't bad for what we paid for. Only real down side was that it was noisy all night. There was a party going on above us.
