Pros. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff are accommodating and helpful. Cons. Its a short uphill walk from anywhere in the city We gad good experience for a couple of nights stay here and recommend it too.

beautiful hotel big room but no luggage keep room
pro: The hotel is beautiful. Room is big. Safebox and shower are good. Walking distance to city center and major sights. con: They don't have room to keep luggage. If arrive early or leave late, luggage need to be in lobby corridor. The corridor they told me to use can't be seen by front desk people. Shower water suddently very hot or suddently cold. Although it is walking distance, it is up hill walk for 4 or 5 blocks.

There was no hot water and the girl in the reception did not understand our request in English and it took a while to resolve it. Tried the onsite restaurant for dinner and the staff were too rude. With slow response, we had to find another eatery late night. Simply they don't care!

Dear Tom, we have no records of hot water malfunctions, we have a hotel with 100% occupancy and more than 140 passengers per day and we did not have a single complaint. The restaurant works normally, on the night of February 16 (the night you stayed) we had 35 diners in the restaurant, the serving staff is the same as always, and it is impossible that they have treated you badly. kind regards

Front desk can feel a little reserved at times yet very helpful when needed. Place can use a little maintenance repair yet pleased for the rate you pay. I would consider staying there again.

Check in was poor. Non attentive single staff member, no lock up for suitcases, grossly over crowded reception area. The service in the restaurant for dinner however was very good!

Habitación muy cómoda, cama cómoda, kichenette con todos los utensilios, amplia, bien calefaccionada. El personal atento y muy amable. El desayuno más que excelente, completo y rico. Definitivamente una excelente relación calidad/precio. Lo recomiendo.

The blankets, pillows and bedding have all kind of Hair. I do not feel the place clean at all. I do not need to clean the room and left the ‘ Do not disturb’ sign on the door two days, but still people entered room cleaning. The day I left for airport and I requested the morning wake up call, but never got the call.

Charming Hotel in Heart of City
My friends and I stayed one night at the Del Bosque prior to transferring to a hotel included with an Antarctic cruise we were staying at. This hotel was actually better. It's a charming series of bungalows and very cozy. The facilities were clean, the staff very friendly, and the rooms pretty comfortable. There's nothing super fancy about this hotel, but it's just overall really nice. The internet is a bit slow, and they have literally dozens of networks to connect to depending on location on property, because each WiFi router appears to have been set up on its own network. That's a little annoying. But the overall stay was great.

Its around 3-4 streets away from the main strip so it's not far to walk into town. Maybe 5 minutes. Ushuaia itself is a very hilly city so expect a steep hill to walk up back to the hotel, as with most hotels there. It's not bad though i did it several times per day but it wouldn't be suitable for maybe someone pregnant or very old with bad knees and expecting to walk to and from. The hotel itself is nice, restaurant is as well. Check in is at 2pm. I'd stay here again. You'll see the word 'Hostal' but it's not a hostel, it's a regular apartment type hotel room with private bathrooms etc.

The Best of the Best in Ushuaia
I must confess that I am truly impressed by the hotel, but above all by its staff. They were very very very helpful, attentive, genuinely nice to deal with. Will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Efficient and service-focussed concierge, helpful and courteous. The hotel has a-la-carte lunch and dinner as well as buffet breakfast (coforatble and pleasant dining room) and the food was excellent - carefully prepared and presented. Del Bosque is high on the hill, close enough for a short taxi ride if you don't want to climb, great if you want a bit of exercise. We arrived early in the morning (enroute to an Antarctica cruise) and were able to leave our bags in the foyer till checkin and then the same obliging service when we checked out the following day.

Hotel in Ushuaia
Hotel is up a steep incline, so good exercise getting to the hotel from downtown. Some may have a problem with that, but we didn't mind. Room was a suite, very spacious and comfortable. Pillows need improvement --- was kind of lumpy. Food was excellent. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has very clean, large, homey rooms with hand-carved furniture and warm terra-cotta tile floors. While some aspects of the rooms could have been newer (the mattress sagged and was uncomfortable), overall it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is also conveniently located just four blocks from the center of town up a slight hill. Our room had a living room, kitchenette, and bedroom. The living room was great for when we came in covered in mud from a hike - we had room to clean up without tracking it to the bedroom.

Good choice in expensive city
The hotel is up the steep hills of Ushuaia - not too far, a 5 minute walk from the main 2 streets. There are gorgeous views though and the restaurant is surprisingly delicious (many locals had birthday parties there while I was staying). The staff were helpful and friendly. The "room" was a 1 bedroom apartment with small kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Great value.

Comfortable but Not Impressed
This is a cozy hotel and the staff is helpful. The location is high up the hill but not too far from the main street. Its easy walk down to the main street but when you go back to hotel need some more energy ... not too bad for us. We picked this hotel was because the hotel room looks new and spacious from the web pictures, so we thought it worth the money, but the room we had was actually a bit old. Overall, we still think this is a nice hotel but the price just a bit over the value.
