Excellent séjour dans le chalet de las cabanas Del Martias Panorama et environnement extraordinaire pour les amoureux de la nature avec une vue sur la baie de Ushuaia en étant situé dans les montagnes tout proche du glacier Martial. Hébergement avec chalet à recommander pour les voyageurs de passage dans la ville du bout du monde. Souvenirs mémorables de mon passage chez Salvador. Nous avions réservés une chambre et pour le même prix nous a offert un petite cabane avec une cuisine pour se faire à manger. La vue sur la baie et la ville d'Ushuaia était superbe.

More than excellent!
We were 3 weeks in Argentina in February and it was the best accomodation where we stayed. The owners are very kind. They make their best so that you have a good stay. They also have a very good knowledge of Ushuaïa and of Argentina in general. We discovered/learnt a lot of things related to Argentina with them. It was a real pleasure to talk with them. The rooms and the house itself are decorated with taste. Our room was very nice, very clean and very large. From our room, we had a great view on Ushuaïa.

Wonderful views. Lovely cabins. The host Salvador was great. A basic daily breakfast is included which is good. It is about 5-10 minutes from the downtown which i think is a plus. Keep in mind that these are cabins at the end of the world. Despite that, the accommodation was ery good.

La atención de Salvador y Mónica es fantástica. Las cabañas tienen la ubicación perfecta, en el medio del cerro, camino a un glaciar, pero a 3 minutos del centro. Además son muy cómodas y amplias, con asador ideal para corderito y truchas recién pescadas

Beautiful place overlooking Beagle Sound. Salvador was a great host. He hand delivered breakfast every morning. Enjoyed grilling on the large deck. Great restaurant within walking distance. Much better to stay here rather than in the town. Lovely place with a great host.

Só temos a agradecer a Monica e Salvador por tamanha hospitalidade e generosidade ao nos receber. A nossa experiência em Ushuaia teria sido completamente diferente sem as suas histórias, indicações e receptividade. Ficamos encantados e já saímos com vontade de retornar um dia. Quanto às acomodações, são muito confortáveis, lindamente decoradas, a limpeza é impecável, tudo funciona muito bem e a vista é de tirar o fôlego. Apesar de não estar no centro, o acesso é fácil por taxi ou remis. Além disso, a região é charmosíssima (na minha opinião, mais que o centro), com boas opções de restaurantes e atividades (centro de ski, bar, café, lojas de souvenir) a uma caminhada de distância. Comfort and Tranquility
We had a wonderful time in Ushuaia, thanks to our lovely hostess Monica. The cabins are situated up a hill with a view of the Beagle channel. This allows for gorgeous sunrises, some bird-watching, and a feeling of tranquility and magic. The cabins are reasonably sized for a family of 4 and the beds and linens are comfortable. Monica went out of her way to accommodate our allergies by providing gluten-free croissants and rolls. We highly recommend Cabanas Del Martial for your stay in Ushuaia.

Made us feel so at home
What can we say about Monica and Salvador that has not already been said. They are wonderful hosts. From arrival to departure they were there to help. The room was spotless clean and very comfortable with amazing views. We stayed 2 nights before a cruise and would happily have stayed longer. The accommodation is out of town in quiet location but can be easily reached by taxi. Otis also near a lovely walk to the glacier.

Amazing views, great host, affordable price
The stay was excellent. The cottage was good and the views of the Beagle Channel were amazing. Salvador was an awesome host and helped us with excursions and airport pickup-drop. The breakfast was amazing as well.

Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf den Beagle Kanal, sehr herzlicher Empfang durch den Gastgeber. Viele Tipps zur Umgebung und Restaurants (und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht!) Wirklich gemütliche Cabanas, gut ausgestattet und blitzsauber. Jeden Morgen gab es einen Frühstückskorb mit Backwaren zur gewünschten Uhrzeit ans Cottage geliefert (nichts Spektakuläres, aber nette Geste - haben uns alles weitere im Supermarkt im Ort besorgt) Kaffee, Orangensaft, Milch war mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Diese Unterkunft ist ein echter Tipp für Urlauber, die mehr als nur eine Nacht in Ushuaia verbringen möchten. Die Fahrt von ca. 10 Minuten in den Ort nimmt man gerne in Kauf, zumal die Stadt selbst nicht besonders sehenswert ist. Haben uns im Cabanas del Martial absolut wohl gefühlt.

A gem of a place
We just couldn't fault anything here. The welcome, friendliness and helpfulness from Monica and Salvador was great, nothing was too much trouble for them. Made some calls for us to help find an Antarctic cruise. The place is immaculate, breakfast good, nice fresh medialunas, toast, jam, juice and hot drinks in abundance. Whilst the location is far from town, the view and the serenity makes it well worth it. The walk into town easily takes 40 mins, more to get to the centre but you can follow the yellow ruta through the forest and it's a nice walk. Unless you love walking maybe better to get a taxi back, now costing around ars 250. Not too far from the glacier route either and lots of other hiking trails around so a perfect position for any walkers. There is a lovely restaurant next door, Chez Manu, and a tea shop on the way to the glacier. All in all probably the best place to stay if you want to be out of town. We would return here anytime, loved our stay and the best place we've stayed during 3 weeks in Argentina. Thank you Monica and Salvador for your wonderful hospitality

I was doubtful about this place before my stay. How could a small cabaña on the way to a mountain has 79 five star review out of 90? But after my stay here.. well I think I was just so lucky, not to miss this unforgettable stay. On my arrival, the host Salvador came out of the house to greet me with generous smile, just like your own grandfather welcomes you. There is no place like home. I can't agree more, but this place was the only exception until now. It was as comfortable and clean as my house, but it had something more, which was the warm humanity of Salvador and Monica. I felt like I was back in my childhood, visiting my adorable grandparents, who are missing now... I often dreamed a little wooden house on the hill, cozy, clean room, nice smelling beddings, up-to-date modern bathroom, original oil paintings on the wall, well-managed garden.. but this place was way better than my dream house. Salvador and Monica must be either stayed at lots of nice hotels and know what travelers want, or listen carefully to what their clients say and improve their place continously, or both. Now I think five stars are not good enough for this place. Maybe I'll have to make another reservation at this place, just to give them five more stars, even if I will not be able to stay here. I still miss Salvador and Monica, and wish them live the happiest life, just like the way they are now.

Feels like home, best hotel in Ushuaia
Monica and Salvador are by far the best innkeepers we have ever come across. We were treated like family. The hotel is warm and inviting. The views are spectacular and the location ideal to the best restaurant in town Chez Mamu, the Martial Glacier and Casa de Te for lunch. They arranged taxi and tours for us and shar f valuable insights about the region. Another fantastic restaurant recommendation was El bodegón fueguino in town. We will definitely come back. Thanks amigos.

I loved this place :) the staff was welcoming and helped me get over a cold by offering tea! Please stay here and take a cab into Ushuaia - much more relaxing.

Cabañas que Sintonizan el BienEstar con Naturaleza
No es facil Sintonizar la Naturaleza de un Lugar con Anfitriones tan Cálidos como fue el caso de nuestra Experiencia vacacional Es encantador tocar base, en ambientes tan maravillosos y personas tan agradables; sus propietarios Salvador y Monica fueron excelentes con su atención. El concepto muy acertado por tanto, para aprovechar la Estancia en tan magnifico Lugar.

The true gift of hospitality
We have stayed in many places during our travels for over 30 years, and have been fortunate with mostly good experiences, but we have never experienced the level of warm hospitality and support that Monica and Salvador offer, it seems, to all of their guests. Not only were they helpful in the run up to our visit, with information about local conditions, taxis, etc., and unfailingly prompt and polite, but their welcome on arrival, the snug comfort and hospitality of their cabanas, and the intelligence of their advice and support were remarkable. But, it gets even better. We needed to work in a trip to Puerto Williams on the Chilean side of the Beagle Channel at the last minute, and they helped with logistics and phone calls quickly and effectively. Two days later, after we'd checked out and moved on down the Channel to another site, our plans changed again and we needed to get back to Ushuaia a day early. We got in touch with them and though they themselves were full, they checked around for us and found a room at a great hotel when Ushuaia was technically "full," and negotiated a special rate for us at that hotel, to boot. This is all after we were technically not even their guests, and they would have been fully justified to shift their concern to current guests! From the web reviews we expected to find friendliness and good cabins, but we found much more: warm, creative people with a true gift of hospitality.

Diferente, show!
Aconchegantes, com seus donos administrando, muito limpo, bem cuidado, roupas de cama excelentes,café da manhã bom localização na montanha? Umpouco longe do centro, mas para nós que gostamos de caminhar foi ótimo, com a possibilidade de caminhar pela mata para ir ao centro,( super bacana) valeu!

Esperienza di pace immersi in Ushuaia
Una esperienza magnifica ad Ushuaia. Il punto di forza di queste "Capanne" immerse nel bosco della salita per il Martial è la tranquillità del luogo; l'atmosfera familiare creata dai proprietari Salvatore e Monica è perfetta se si vuole godere di una pausa dallo stress ed essere coccolati come se foste a casa. Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni a Novembre nella Cabana principale e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. Unico suggerimento è valutare le spese dei Remis/Taxi paragonandoli al noleggio di un'autovettura perché il luogo si trova appunto sulla salita del Glacial de Martial e non è comoda per raggiungere a piedi il centro di Ushuaia. Consigliatissimo.
