“Great location, worth a look”

This was a great hotel in a very good location, 2 blocks from 18 de Julio (the main street) and Plaza Independencia. I arrived in Montevideo a day late and missing my luggage, and the staff were very helpful in directing me to shops to buy some new items while I waited for my things to catch up with me from the airline. The breakfast buffet was good, although it did take some time for the staff to clear away and re-set the tables. The view from the dining terrace was a great way to start the day. All in all, the staff were incredibly helpful (and bilingual Spanish/English), and I would happily stay here again if I were lucky enough to travel back to Uruguay.

“A white new hotel”

Is a charming new hotel in the Montevideo center.People are niece.Is very clean .The reception personal are the best.Only need a cafeteria and a restaurant.

“Convenient for culture.”

Great decor, friendly but under-staffed so breakfast in the poorly finished roof terrace a bit of a scrum. Location just off cultural area so fine for tourists taking care. Could do with a bar. Not an hotel for business.

“Clean, bright, stylish & good location.”

The hotel is much better than many of the other hotesl we saw in the area (Old Town/Ciudad Vieja) - it is spotlessly clean, very white & bright, with stylish modern rooms & good quality bathrooms. It is very near the main square (2 minutes walk) and the livlier streets for nightlife - it is actually much nearer than the map on expedia suggests. Happy we picked this one.

“Great hotel for a couple nights”

This is a good hotel for a quick stay in Montevideo. It is well located relative to restaurants, shops, the port, and the old part of the city. The staff were helpful, the pool was cute (read small), the breakfast met expectations, and most of all, the hotel/room was very clean and trendy. I recommend it for a couple of nights in Montevideo.

“Good facilities/ amateur staff”

The hotel has very good facilities but also amateur staff. We stayed at the hotel from Dec23 to Dec27. On the Christmas evening we asked the reception to call a cab to go to a restaurant where we had a dinner reservation. For our surprise, we were told that there were no cabs available. Considering that most of tourists do not know about the unavailability of cabs, remises (private drivers) and buses on the 24th and 25th, they should inform the guests upfront about this problem to avoid unpleasant surprises (like the one we did). To make things worse, the hotel does not have restaurant neither room service...As for the deco, everything looks modern, with design furnitures everywhere. Another bad thing relates to the indoor pool, that does not really have warm water. Last but not least, the breakfast is very poor and nothing special was served on the 25th.
