good location

Overall is good compared to what you paid, but avoid mountain view room. It's facing main street and very noisy. Swimming pool is plus. Breakfast is good. Staff are very friendly.

Quiet and clean.

Rooms and grounds well kept but in need of refurbish. Clerk said though that the entire complex will be remodelled this year. Free continental breakfast, 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, and free wifi.

Nice hotel close to downtown

Posted 12-Mar-2015
Pros: The grounds were nicely manicured and the pool area was great! Very quiet and no problem finding a chair to relax. King bed in our room was comfy.
Cons: The rooms could definitely use some upgrading. We were on the ground floor and the carpet in our room was very dirty and dated. Bathroom needs updates
Location: We were only there for a short stay. We checked out some downtown shops and restaurants. Also took in the Palm Springs Aerial Tram which was great!
Check in/check out was fairly quick, although our room wasn't ready till about 3:30 pm when we arrived. The BBQ Restaurant which was located on site had excellent food! There was 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. One pool heated and one not. Pools were open till 10:30 pm which was nice to unwind in hot tub after shopping! Overall, good experience for the price. It is an older hotel and could use some room upgrades.

It was overall disappointing

Posted 11-Mar-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean the place and renovate the facilities!
The hotel looked okay from outside. But when I walked in the room I immediately noticed that the place was rundown. Floor wasn't as cleans and the carpet, desk, and general feel of the place was below average hotel. If you want to enjoy your vacation, look for somewhere else.

Pros: Breakfast is included and no resort fee. Also nice large pool and 2 jacuzzis to enjoy and relax.
Cons: Rooms could use a little updating.
We arrived late at nite and were allowed a later check out. Rooms are clean and comfortable and friendly staff.

Pleasant ambiance

Posted 3-Mar-2015
We enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel. The free shuttle bus stops just down the road and it provided us with easy transportation to the downtown. Because of the weather, we did not use the pool area but it looked very nice. The room was adequate with a very large TV and a fridge which came in handy. The breakfast was what you would expect and the breakfast room was very pleasant.

weekend get away in PS

Posted 27-Feb-2015
Pros: the grounds are fairly nice, but the pool furniture is cheap plastic stuff that you would find at Target.
Cons: I would sugest getting some people for the front desk that have some personallity and manners, get some decent beds and linens and towels.
Location: the location is fine and the billy reed restaurant nearby is good
The problem is I waited too long to make a room reservation, so I picked Ivy Palms. the room looked fine for the first 20 seconds, but it had hard wood floors and they were filthy. there was a desk, but no chair or loveseat, so had to sit on the bed for 3 nights. the bed was the worst I have every slept in. when i complained to the manager, she proceeded to tell me all about HER bad back and that a really firm bed was better for me. It felt like a box spring, with a very lumpy mattress pad on it. after three nights, i felt like i had gone 10 rounds with Floyd Mayweather. the room attendant never re-filled the coffee supply or re-filled the empty kleenex box. the breakfast was nothing to write home about either. the waffles had been made up beforehand, so they were cold and the syrup flowed like molasses. Overall, I was very disappointed in the place.
