Just a really comfortable and convenient hotel after a long flight. Free pick up from airport. Nice park across the road to stretch the legs. Very good breakfast.

Location was great, across from major park which was very popular with families, joggers and bike riders. Pool very nice and good atmosphere. Door staff friendly, cleaning lady kept our room very clean and wifi was strong(very important). And restaurant on level 4 had fantastic views with nice food at good prices.

Never Again
The hotel is pleasant and comrortable but staff require basic training. It is isolated and some 2 km from town centre. At 8.00pm on a Saturday night I was told taxis were unavailable, given a number and told to ring myself. Lovely but eccentric swimming pool without towels and had to bring one from room. No written material in English in rooms. At breakfast, staff standing around and only occasionally collecting used plates but making no effort to help customers or replenish coffee and buffet food counter. I do not know how this could possibly have received 4* rating. Have stayed at better run boarding houses and will certainly never return

Great location by the park. Terrible sink design.
No counter space around the sink. Not little, bit none. Other than that, this hotel was good. 4 stars. Location right next to the big park and lake is very nice. Price was also very good.

Disappointing
Firstly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. I had a superior room which is advertised as 32 sq m. This seem to be overly generous as the room was quite cramped and to give some sense of roominess, the shower and wash basin were in the room. The only place for any privacy was in the toilet. Not my idea of a relaxing environment. Service was less than usual for Thailand. I stayed 5 days and the soap and Shampoo was not replaced the entire 5 days. I had to use the soap frugally. The Hotel advertises its pool and it is a magnificent pool. But no towels were provided. I've never had this happen at a Hotel before.

The hotel is standard and clean. My room has no view at all, it overlooked the opposite room. The arrangement of the WC, the shower and the washing basin are strange to me in person. Swimming pool and gym is located in a separated building, which is mainly for rent-out functions. I came across the pool side wedding banquette during my stay n pool closed. Covered parking area is available. Wifi is free but not very stable. Staff are polite and can communicate in simple english. I love the surrounding community, quiet and clean, just one step to the Udon Thani Public Park. Apparently shared bike is available but we couldn't get the pre-paid card to rent a bike for cycle around the park. We tried to ask the locals but they replied in Thai..... Cafe, local food, massage shops. health center are available near by 10-20min drive to Central Plaza, depands on the traffic, away from the noisy pub street.

VERY GOOD
Although it was just one night, our stay was quite memorable, especially considering the wonderfully reasonable room rate. The pool was also very nice as it had variety of depths and well maintained. We will definitely make sure to pick Prajaktra Design Hotel for our next trip to Udon Thani!

Nice Hotel Away From Central Plaza
The Prajaktra is a nice hotel but is geared more for business meeting and conventions than family stays. They try to handle both but it is clear to see they are more of a convention/wedding party hotel. They have a business/residence to the left of them (looking at the hotel from the front) that has many roosters that will call out from early morning throughout the day and that may make sleeping in difficult even for a deep sleeper like me. Again this is not the Hotel's fault but it is worth mentioning. The rooms are a good size for Thailand. They are clean and comfortable. Food is decent. Pool is very nice and has one portion that is 4 meters deep. Quite rare for Hotels in Thailand. I happen to be staying there when they were hosting the USANA convention and that made parking and entering and exiting the facility a nightmare sometimes. The staff tries their best to manage these over crowded times but they get overwhelmed by the number of people all being there at the same time. For business travelers like me you kind of get lost in that convention experience they are dealing with so you feel less than important to most staff members there. One example I needed an iron to iron some of my clothes after a long travel period and called the front desk/ guest services and was forgotten about completely. It is a good thing I have experience on getting rinkles out of clothes without an iron. However, the iron would have worked faster with better results.

This hotel really does everything right. Airport Transfer. Sightseeing booking for local attractions like the Red Lily Lake. English speaking staff. Good rooftop restaurant. Across the street from a large park. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Pool.

The staff was very nice, but the room was not up to par. There was no where to put our close away, the sitting area was too small. The bed was the best thing about the room, very big.

Very pleasant hotel with extremely pleasant staff
Nice room with very good air-conditioning which is a must-have for the city Located across from a public park, there is plenty for a jog or or exercise class given every day at six or 7 PM. The latter open to the public. About 50 m from the hotel is the "Everything Good" restaurant, which more than lives up to its name. Just about the best Thai restaurant I've eaten at in three cities so far. Everything is super great at Everything's Good. About 100 m away are local food stalls where you can taste the unique flavors of the everyman in Thailand. Another real treat for the traveler. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel close to the lake.
The staff are always very polite and helpful. We had an early flight, arriving at 9am in the morning, and were able to gain access to our room by 10:30am. The hotel restaurant serves very good Thai food as well as some basic English food if required. Well positioned if you like to still try and keep fit on your holiday. It is just across the road from the reservoir lake, which has a running and cycling track around it.

First time to Udon Thani,
I was so glad i chose this hotel as this was my first trip to Udon Thani, to see friends here. the staff were friendly I understand the lack of english so i was expecting not many english speaking staff or around Udon either. the rooms were always cleaned very well. breakfast good no complaints at all about my stay here. even had the pool to myself lol.

This hotel is a little outdated but very clean, service excellent and located near a very nice park and food stalls. The breakfast buffet is good and at a good price.I would recommend without any restrictions

A good hotel but unfortunately on the wrong side of town for entertainment /bars etc. The hotel provided a kettle in the room, but no tea. A great roof top bar / restaurant. The breakfast lacked variety and was not worth the daily premium required, should you want to eat it. I would not look to stay here again.

Free airport pick-up shuttle. Check-in and check-out good. Friendly greeting at reception. Reception staff speak English and are helpful. Room is clean. Two complimentary bottles of water in room. Pillows are hard. Management should offer softer pillows. Pool isn't directly on the property. Restaurants aren't nearby. They are located on the other side of the lake - a 20-minute walk. Town is a 100 Thai Baht taxi ride from hotel. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement particularly coffee and eggs.

My 5 day stay.
I had a great time while I stayed at the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and large selection of choices for international travelers. One thing to add, French Toast as cinnamon in the batter used before cooking. I would have enjoyed the hotel staff in the restaurant to speak English. This made ordering food difficult and even ordering a soda. SEND THEM TO ENGLISH SCHOOL. Invest in them and it will pay off in Hotel Image. Cable TV choices for English speaking guests was extremely limited and needs improvement.

This hotel is new and looks pretty good on the surface, but the quality of the building is clearly cheap. Grand Suite was spacious, but there were a few issues. First was a pretty foul sewage smell in the bathroom. I complained about this, and they simply sent a maintenance guy who cleaned the drain and put some better smelling cleaner down the drains. It masked the smell for a day only. I just closed the bathroom door so the rest of the room wasn't stinky. The blind for the window was damaged, not a big deal, but just kind of shows you they don't really care. There was also a ceiling access panel that had black fingerprints all over it. Clearly someone accessed it with dirty hands, and no one cleaned it. It's probably still there, again, because the cleaning staff probably don't care. My other complaint is the fact that there is no shower in the grand suite, but a large corner whirlpool tub, with a shower gun 3 feet off the floor. This made bathing a pain. I had to squat and shower. This being their best room, the bathroom is not well designed. I think I would have been happier with the smaller and cheaper deluxe suite with a real stand up shower. The walls of the room are thin, and I can hear everything next door. This place is going to be falling apart if they don't up the maintenance and housekeeping services. Would I stay here again? Nope. I would try my luck somewhere else.
