Rooms with terraces that open on to semi-private swimming pools present exquisite views and are a unique feature of Udaivilas. Magnificently decorated suites with private swimming pools and outdoor dining pavilions are exclusive retreats.
Rooms feature satellite television, wired broadband internet access, separate walk-in closet with an electronic safe, personal minibar, 24 hours butler service and spacious white marble bathroom with a sunken bathtub.
Premeir Rooms - At the first level are richly appointed Premier rooms, all with private walled courtyards, complete with silken parasols. 600 sq. ft. in area they are elegantly appointed with fine Indian textiles and custom designed handcrafted furniture. The rooms have luxurious white marble bathrooms marked by Victorian freestanding bathtubs and separate shower stalls. The rooms look out onto the landscaped gardens of the resort.
Premier Lake View Room - Premier Lake View rooms open onto the beautiful semi-private pool. From here guests overlook Lake Pichola. The luxurious marble bathrooms have Victorian style free standing bathtubs and overlook private walled courtyards.
Dining
Fine international cusine, authentic flavours of Rajasthan or a quiet drink are all presented with views of the City Palace and Lake Pichola.
Udaimahal - Our speciality Indian Restaurant where guests dine by candlelight on a rich variety of traditional, Rajasthani and North Indian fare in regal surroundings.
Suryamahal - The informal 30s style restaurant is open all day. The menu here is a fusion of light Western, Mediterranean and Thai style dishes.
Chandni - This dining courtyard adjoins the restaurants where guests can enjoy open air dining with traditional music and dance performances in the evening.
Recreation
The luxurious spa with its own swimming pool overlooks the lake and is a haven of serenity. Trained therapists pamper body and soul with rejuvenating treatments.
Our state of the art gym is fully equipped to burn off any excess calories. The opportunities for swimming or just floating around here. Both our main swimming pools are heated in winter.

“absolutely fabulous ...heaven..best hotel ever stayed at!”
This hotel has everything gorgeous views of lake palace,fantastic building though modern beautifully designed and decorated.The staff are all delightful and will not take tips the policy tip at end of stay so much nicer. The food was delicious and breakfasts good...try the traditional dosa they even took me to kitchens to see how was this made...very clean by the way. Only criticism would be lack atmosphere in small bar and spa treatment average for price paid. No wonder it has won best hotel in asia..we will definetly go back .
“Lives up to Expectations”
We had a wonderful stay at Udaivilas. The grounds were spectacular and the hotel provided the perfect respite from exhausting travel/sightseeing. The service was impeccable and we felt cared for in every respect. Our only (small) complaint was the food; it was fine but not as exciting or inventive as meals we had elsewhere in the city.

As soon as you enter the grounds of this enclave of domed magnificence, hidden from view of the bustling and beatiful city of Udaipur, but overlooking the tranquility of Lake Pitchola and the reflections of the majestic City Palace, you know you will be in for a treat. Reception on arrival is low key polished efficiency, as is service throughout. Attention to detail is the key to this modern day temple to 'well being.' Attention to detail in architecture has been followed through to the interiors, not only public spaces, but the rooms and their facilities too. The Gardens and outdoor recreational spaces are no exception. Spa treatments are numerous, sensational, and represent excellent value. A truly memorable experience that will be enjoyed by the most seasoned and demanding of travellers.
