The hotel was lovely and the room was spacious, modern and comfortable. However, even with all the upgrades, the chipped bathtub paint stood out like a sore thumb.

This is a no frills property that backs up to an auto repair facility which very unsightly. The room was clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was good with a decent selection of both hot and cold items. Overall , it’s a good value for the price.

Great overnight stay
This hotel is very new, clean, quiet and safe. It’s perfect for overnight travelers and business people. However, it is not child friendly.

This hotel is a gem. Everything is so very clean. Super comfortable bed. I travel A LOT! I'll definitely be staying here again while passing through the area. Very nice checkin person too

Property was great, problem was with Expedia, overall...but because we prepaid for two nights, when we had to check out after the first morning, because of an unforeseen circumstance, we have had to pay for our second night, that we didn't stay for (notified hotel around the 8:00 am hour of first morning). We booked through Expedia. I absolutely understand cancellation policies are in place for a reason, but when we dress the needed early check out before check out time, there should be some reasonable refund with understanding.

Rooms were clean but...
We picked this room based on prior reviews. The rooms were indeed clean but there was no breakfast as advertised in the site. They only had coffee available at the lobby and they had your basic muffins, fruits, etc but had to ask the lady up front because they kept everything behind the front desk. So you had to go and ask to get something. If you are looking for a basic stay this may be for you. But personally I would look to stay in another hotel next time.

The room we were in smelled like a hospital nursing home. Not necessarily a terrible thing. Just didn't personally care for that. Staff was nice and helpful any time we needed them. Especially Paula the manager

They don’t allow pets over 25 lbs. please make that more noticeable on the site. Had it been a big game weekend I would have probably had to drive to Birmingham for a room.

The morning staff lady was unprofessional. Not only was she training someone who did not know what he was doing but then he delayed my departure. On top of that they distracted me from the free “breakfast” and when i went back inside to ask for it the lady told me that i was “lucky” she had any left when it was clear all she was doing was putting snacks from the kitchenette in a [paper bag and calling it “breakfast” If she had done a better job of checking me out then i wold have gotten it without even having to ask.

Fair Accomodations with a "Grag & Go" Breakfast
We stayed at the Wingate Hotel so we could help our son move into his new place on campus. Although the room was clean and the property was in good condition, we were taken aback by the lack of any Hotel Manager on site. They offered a breakfast w/ our stay, but that turned into a distasteful "grab and go". What they had were honey buns, and blueberry muffins in plastic bags, like the stuff you buy at the dollar store. In all honesty, it was very disappointing. Thankfully, they did have freshly brewed coffee available. In all honesty, it seems like management spends very little time at this location, so that might explain their lack of customer relations.

There was constant leak from underneath of the tiles coming out of the elevator. Very limited food for breakfast. No night stands on the outer side of the beds🙃, either no shelf to put things down: like phone or water.

Nice 1 night stay.
Stay was nice. Check in was fast and easy. The bed was comfortable. We only stayed 1 night. The ac was loud & cut on & off all night. We are not used to that so it woke us up every time. The only food out for breakfast was oatmeal packets & coffee. If you want anything else you have to wait at the front desk & ask for it. Bathroom could be cleaned a little better. Overall it was good. We have stayed in ALOT worse.

It was pretty good. The grab-and-go breakfast wasn’t bad but could use more variety. I would prefer not to have room service on short stays and there was no door hanger in the room to request “do not disturb.”
