“Excellent hotel for the price...”
I was pleasantly surprised. I was really just looking for a decent hotel with a pool and found much more. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed and chair were very comfortable. Most importantly to me, the pool was great. It was large for a hotel pool in Tuscaloosa and very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel for the money.

This is an older hotel but it is in pretty good shape. I was a little worried when we drove up but the inside has been cared for so it was a decent choice. The bathroom was kinda small but the room was clean and comfortable. If I have to go back to Tuscaloosa I would stay there again and I'm the traveler that has the Clorox wipes and I spray the shower with cleaning agents when we get to a hotel.

“sufficient for this trip”
This was our first trip of many to come since our daughter is in school there. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom needs a serious remodel. The fan didnt work, paint drips all over, mildewy shower. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast fell just a little short of what we expected. We inspected some newer looking rooms down the street and will stay there next time. We would stay there again if needed.

Staff is friendly, and competent. I had a no smoking room, that the previous guest smoked in. Had to let room air out, once that was done, it was ok. This is an older hotel that is trying to improve. New linens on bed, comfortable pillows, but the bed was a little hard for my taste. Breakfast was fine, they had an employee making waffles for the patrons. Rates are reasonable, This hotel is not fancy, parking is easy. I'll try it again when I am back in town.

The hotel staff was super nice. Morning b'fast was good. Only one complaint. No elevator. I was traveling with two children,ages 3 and 1. Requested crib. Knew I had small children and still placed me on the second floor. This was difficult with no elevator. Next time I will request ground floor room.

The hotel needs cleaning up and painting. The linens were clean. The door to the room was dirty and looked as if someone had tried to break out. The shower was terrific. The TV reception was awful.
