“It was okay.”

The location was convenient for the Northport Hospital, our reason for being there. They need to have the rooms cooled by check-in time when the temperature outside is over 100 degrees. They were supposed to serve a continental breakfast. Nothing was set up. The motel seemed to have been recently renovated. It was neat and clean.

“By Budget, they mean they save money--not you”

The room was barely acceptable for a 1 night stay. Even though we specifically reserved the room for 3 people, the room only had towels, shampoo, etc. for 2 people. It was a hassle to get an extra towel and blanket from the front desk. They didn't even have little bottles of shampoo/conditioner/lotion, either. Instead, there were ketchup-packet style packets of shampoo and bar soap that left a weird film on the skin. The "continental breakfast" consisted of cold cereal (no milk--at least not in any visible area) and horrible, weak coffee with powdered creamer. Also, the rooms lack deadbolts, so there's no real sense of having the door secured. The thermostat options were to freeze or boil, as it was impossible to get a temperate setting. The Wi-Fi access signal did not extend to our room, so even once we wrestled the access code out of the front desk, we couldn't get a reliable signal (our room was only about 5 away from the desk). It's worth a few extra bucks to have better lodgings.
