“Nicest staff , great beach, great vacation at Windsong”
My wife and I vacationed at Windsong in February 2011. Had a great time. The weather didn't cooperate, and we couldn't snuba as planned, but had a great, low key, kick back vacation. The staff at the resort were all wonderful people. We walked the beach, read, relaxed, and thouroughly enjoyed our time. We had a one bedroom ocean view suite which was as nice as anywhere we have ever been. It was beautiful. There is one, on site, restaurant that is good. We had breakfast there everyday, lunch and dinner a few times. No complaints about the resort.
“Great Vacation”
The Windsong is more like condos than a hotel complex. There is a no frills front desk, but they make up for it with what's important. The grounds are nice, the staff is friendly, the Havana club setting is lovely, the rooms are very clean, the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, better than mine at home, the pool is big and the hot tub is nice, the beach is beautiful and the reef right in front of the hotel is wonderful. You can rent snorkel equipment for $5/day. I snorkeled 5 out of 8 days we were there. Just make sure to stay outside the circular rope, and some people think it's ok to swim inside but it's not. It is a protected area and you will be told to get out. Also, don't touch anything, stand on coral or kick it with your fins, take anything home, or feed the fish. The reef is damaged and is slowly dying because people are doing these things. If you love snorkeling, please respect the reef. You can also walk to Smith's reef (take a left on the beach and it's about a 40 min walk) or you can take a cab. We ate breakfast here every day since it was complimentary. You can choose 3 of the following: toast, bagel, english muffin, pastry (my favorite), fresh fruit, yogurt, or cereal, plus coffee or juice. Not your typical continental breakfast since you can't help yourself, but still nice enough. We ate lunch here the day we got in and the day we left. Grouper sandwich was ok, chicken quesadillas were good, pizza not bad (but I'm used to New Haven, CT)
“Great Hotel”
We loved it at the Windsong, it was smaller and had more of a personal feel. Staff was so sweet and never asking for tips, if they got a tip they were so humble and thankful. Great beach and loved the snorkeling at any time!
“Great place”
Gorgeous room (had the ocean front 1 br suite), GREAT view, wonderful access to very good snorkeling, convenient location to restaurants, and great service. I would return.
“Great Vacation!”
Loved the snorkeling. Saw nurse shark, stingrays, turtles, lobsters and tons of beautiful, colorful fish. Lots of coral. Took a snorkel day trip with Big Blue and was lucky enough to run into JoJo the dolphin. She stayed and played with us for 45 minutes!
“Best Vacation”
We were absolutely thrilled with the Windsong Resort - both with the hotel itself and the excellent customer service. We had seen some good online reviews, but since it is a brand new hotel, we did not know what to expect in terms of location, construction, etc. The hotel is beautiful and located on the quieter part of Grace Bay beach which was perfect for us. We don't like to be in the middle of a crowded or loud beach. The best snorkeling is right out front, and although people from other resorts regularly walked down to snorkel at the reef, it did not bother us too much. The water was not as warm as we expected, but it was refreshing to swim in and I have no complaints. Beach walks were beautiful as were sunsets every evening. Although the hotel restaurant was not yet finished, there were plenty of dining options available and Charles happily drove us to the grocery store so that we could buy lunch food to stock in our fridge. Breakfast was great and we even ate grilled chicken sandwiches at the hotel for lunch one day in the bar/breakfast area. Everyone at the hotel was fantastic, from the bartender to the man serving breakfast/lunch to Charles and Jim, the manager. I would highly recommend the Windsong!
“Great Honeymoon Location for Water Enthusiasts”
We had an excellent time at the Windsong. The suite we had was out of this world. Ocean view was on both sides of our corner suite. The kitchen was really nice to have for our groceries and eating lunch in each day and even a couple of meals in the evening. (Nice continential breakfast was provided). The ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly and we were on a first name basis with one of the female bartenders/servers which we never do.

The Windsong exceeded all of the multiple choice star ratings given by Expedia. You are greeted by Caryann & Ian who offer genuine outstanding customer service on your first day, second, etc. The rooms are marble & granite with stainless steel appliances. A 20 ft l shaped sliding door opens to breathtaking oceanfront patio that can seat 6. The furnishings are most comfortable with flat screen TVs & a Bose sound system. The bedroom & bath are equally outstanding with a shower to die for, also with an adjoining patio door to the main deck. A unique design bridge recirculates water over the pool through dolphin portholes acces the beach. Charles greets you with a welcoming warm smile & caters to your every need. Beach chairs & umbrellas are plenty with crysatal clear water, snorkeling & scuba 100 feet away to the richest marine life reef we've snorkeled in the Carribean. Restaraunts Somewhere(the name) just steps away & Jo Jo's at the Windsong where Bartender Nick greets you with the second best painkiller I,ve ever had. Restaraunts Mango reef a $10 cab ride use Ligge driver. Simply stated the Windsong's ammenities are only rivalled by the staff that I have mentioned. If you choose to go say hello to them all from us & remember thier names because they will remember yours. Gary & Gail Tewksbury NJ

“Spectacular Hotel”
The Windsong is beautifully situated on the silky sand beach. The rooms are wonderful, comfortable and clean. The staff is so willing to make everything perfect and they do make it a perfect place to stay. I would visit again. This is a beautiful place with perfect temperature for a beach vacation. The ocean is warm and many shades of blue and green with good snorkeling right off the beach.
