“Most impressive with accomodations”
Furnishings were premier quality. Quite spacious penthouse accomodations. The location is in the middle of the Grace Bay happenings. Though it is not ocean front, it is ocean view. The access to the beach is a very short walk via walkway. Advantage over many other accomodations is that the complex is 1 year old.
“Will go back”
Only complaint was that I arrived late and no one was at the front desk and that caused a little panic on my part. Things were sorted out though and the reat of my stay was exceptional. Friendly staff and beautiful room.
“Beautiful location”
Our family of five were very happy with the location compared to other resorts we saw from road and beach. Top notch beds, appliances, blinds, bartender and staff, landscaped garden & pool and very comfortable padded loungers. Beach kept very clean and attendants friendly and quick. Rented car, but you could walk to enough restaurants. Big hot tub where it was nice to see same faces nightly for sunset cocktail. Only drawback, one bathroom for 2 bedroom condo - but really no big deal. Having washer/dryer was great. Quiet for sleeping. Just beautiful walking across street through gorgeous hotel to get to beach - no problem as long as you cross your younger children.

“Wonderful hotel and awesome staff in the perfect location.”
We had a fabulous stay at VDM. The staff there, truly made the stay even better. They were so kind and helpful. Thea, who works at the front desk, got us set up to go to Horse Eyed Jacks to catch our own conch because we were set on catching our own to bring back home. The hotel even cleans the shells for you, which is a huge perk. Kerone, one of the beach attendants, was nice, attentive, and always willing to take pictures of us. : )Our room was spacious, clean, and had a nice big patio. For the most part, we could walk anywhere we wanted to go. There are great restaurants all around the area (within walking distance). I would definitely recommend VDM if you are interested in visiting the Grace Bay area.
“Great Hotel, Great Location, Receptionist/Greeter should be fired”
We spent a week at the Villa del Mar and just came back on the 7/18. It's a small, intimate resort. We had a studio room which was very spacious and decorated very nicely. My favorite part was the balcony which was HUGE!! Just a few minutes from the beach. Loved the room, but the greeter/receptionist was rude from beginning and thru out our stay. She behaved as though providing the free breakfast, which was supposed to be incl, was such a hassle for her. My husband called 3 maybe 4 times to have the internet in our room repaired, and that never happened. He also informed her of some bugs that we saw in the room, and she claimed bugs don't exist on the island.
“Paradise Found!”
We stayed at the Villa Del Mar for 12 nights and were extremely pleased with all aspects of the hotel, room was lovely, grounds beautiful, but most memorable the service and kindness of the staff at the Villa Del Mar. Alan accomodated our every need as well asThea at the Front Desk and Nadine at the Tiki Hut. She makes the BEST Pina Coladas. The VDM is a place to relax, and is a few steps from the lovely Grace Bay Beach! Amazing time was had, thanks staff at the VDM...we hope to return again soon. By then, maybe the new gym and restaurant will be ready for us!! Barb and Greg from CT
“great place”
Villa Del Mar was everything we were looking for. We spent 6 nights there in June. Great staff, comfortable room. A quick 2 minute walk to the beach. Our room was on the first floor and had sliding glass doors which opened up to a nice terrace, and the pool was literally right outside. It had all the comforts of home, and I strongly recommend it to anyone.
“Positive Reviews Are Well Deserved!”
Location: Just across the street from the beach at Grace Bay. The property is pretty central to most all destinations in Provo. Room: One bedroom with a den had about 1100 sq. ft. Huge balcony with dining table and chairs, plus a full size lounge chair. Teriffic kitchen with GE Stainless appliances and granite counter tops. Overview: The property is a little over a year old so the condition of everything on the property is like new. Staff was cheerful, friendly & very helpful. A Great Value!
“Great Hotel!”
My husband and I loved Villa del Mar! We stayed in the studio suite and it was great..a king sized bed (which was a little hard but no big deal), small kitchen, washer/dryer and balcony. The room was very modern and clean. The hotel staff was nice and the hotel is conveniently located across the street from the beach with an area designated for Villa del Mar guests. We would definitely go back!
