“Great hotel, good deal”
Stayed for a week after Europe trip was cancelled. We really enjoyed Royal West Indies. Room was quite nice and staff friendly. The restaurant was very good and for Turks and Caicos not too expensive. Beach was great.
“turks dream vacation”
Royal West Indies Resort is a wonderful hotel, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The view of the ocean is breathtaking from the balcony of our room. The location is perfect, many places to dine along grace bay. Would recommend going to grocery about 1 mile away for breakfast and lunch items as everything is pricey because they grow nothing there, that way you can spend alittle more for a great dinner. Loved the hoby cat that is provided for use by hotel and bikes are for use also. The pools are great to, love that they offer quiet pool for adults only. Will definetly return to Turks and would stay again at this resort.
“Already planning on returning next year”
Amazing hotel, great staff, beautiful beach; couldn't ask for anything more! Our most favorite of all our Caribbean vacations, and we will definitely be back next year! Thanks to everyone at RWI!
“Comfortable and Spacious”
The one bedroom suites with the full sized kitchen, are great value for money; with the resort right on the beach and in a good location for easy access to all that the Grace Bay area has to offer. It was lovely to be able to sit and enjoy morning coffees on the private balcony with pleasant views over the lush botanical grounds and a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food, also at a reasonable price (for Providenciales standards as prices on the island are very high!) and includes entrees based on traditional dishes. All in all, a very comfortable and relaxing stay, meeting all of our expectations for a Caribbean beach vacation.
“Great location”
Great hotel! Convenient location with beautiful grounds. Beautiful beach front with many extras included. Entire staff was pleasant and always offering assistance. Suite was well stocked and very clean and comfortable. We liked the fact that the hotel was not a Mega property. It was easy to navigate and was not so large you felt lost. The onsite restaurant was very convenient and one of the most affordable on the island. Food was good and plentiful.
“Outstanding: Beautiful facility, wonderful staff”
The Royal West Indies enjoys a spectacular beachfront location. We booked a one-bedroom, ocean view suite and it was immaculate. We were celebrating a special anniversary and the staff made it a magical vacation. Everyone--front reception, bellman, groundskeepers, beach crew, and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. The landscaping and especially the many varied flowers were amazingly beautiful. This was the perfect tropical island and an altogether fabulous vacation!
“Looking forward to going back!”
Felt welcomed from the beginning. Hotel staff friendly and courteous. Restaurant and pools great. Fantastic location on beach. Close to grocery store, shopping, and restaurants. Hotel provides bicycles to ride to shops.
“Anniversary trip w/ 2 year old”
Booked 7 nights ocean view and we were upgraded to ocean front upon check-in! Friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely gorgeous landscaping. Felt like the Garden of Eden. Enjoyed each and every walk through the property...and my two year old boy loved the little lizards that scurried away. Our room was modern, clean and just steps from the beach. Our 1 bedroom accomodations were plenty big enough for the three of us. We brought an inflatable travel bed for our little boy. The room was clean, A/C was great, housekeeping did a good job of cleaning up all the sand we tracked in everyday and helping with the dishes since we prepared breakfast and lunch ourselves, saving $$ to enjoy local restaurants each night. The pools were wonderful!! My son enjoyed the toddler pool immensely. I could read a book in a comfy lounge chair and keep an eye on him. We also enjoyed the larger pools and hot tub, especially at night after dinner when we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The resort wasn't crowded at all (first week of August), and we saw the same friendly faces of guests and staff each day, felt nice being on a smaller property as compared to some of the huge hotels down the beach. We loved the beach and logged in time there every day! Umbrellas, towels, chairs were provided. The warm, calm, gorgeous ocean water just soothes the soul. Shallow calm beach is perfect for kids. Enjoyed the rum punch welcome party and can't wait to go back someday!
“Great Location”
I thought this hotel was excellent, very comfortable, clean, with friendly staff. Right on the beach with very friendly, helpful attendants to help with sun beds and sporting eqipment. Child friendly but without being 'overrun' with children and families. Something for everyone.
“The best value in Turks and Caicos”
A nice, clean and friendly hotel in a good location. Small, quiet, with kids but also couples, with quieter areas, and areas for kids to play. The beach is beautiful and there are plenty of chairs. The restaurant is one of our favorites. Our second visit, and we will definitely be back!
