“A surprisingly good response to a problem”

On checkout, the hotel neglected to return my passport. When I later discovered this I was on my way to Milan. The hotel deleievered the missing passport to my Milan hotel in the sams day via thier own driver (2.5 hours each way), and I made my plane early the next morning--complete with passport. A fantastic response to a awkward siuation.

“Good hotel, with distance from city centre catered for by efficient Metro”

A pleasing experience. Helpful staff, pleasant room with great view of Alps. Hotel provided for all needs. Although some distance from City Centre the metro (100 metres away) was highly efficient...1 euro per trip. A beautiful city. Most enjoyable....although a more central hotel would have been more satisfying.
