Property Amenities

A half-dozen restaurants please even the most demanding appetites resulting from a day of golfing, swimming, tennis, and other exercise options at this all-inclusive resort. During high season, guests can order snacks and beverages for delivery to their rooms. Items such as complimentary local calls, use of the fitness center, and aerobics classes are included in the resort fee. Other amenities (extra fee) include daily childcare services and wireless high-speed Internet access in guestrooms, lobby, business center, 64,000 square feet of meeting facilities, and poolside.

The Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa guestrooms are located in a sprawling village of 27 one- to three-story buildings, with rose-colored stucco exteriors and interior color schemes in pale desert hues. All rooms offer tiled entries, private balconies or patios, mini-bars, cotton sheets, and plush bathrobes. Bathrooms feature separate bathtub and shower. Refrigerators and VCRs are available for an extra fee. Wired and wireless high-speed Internet access is available in guestrooms (surcharge) and other locations at the resort for a daily fee, with complimentary setup and technical support.

Dining

Janos - French-inspired Southwestern cuisine rules in this sophisticated space with aubergine and soft-yellow walls; a fireplace; a shimmering gold-leafed ceiling; and picturesque views of Tucson. A menu sampling: scallops and mussel risotto; crab- and bacon-encrusted salmon; duck breast with foie gras; and a bombe of dark chocolate, caramel, and peanuts with a Bananas Foster milkshake. Open for dinner Monday through Saturday. A prix fixe tasting menu is also available.

AZUL - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Casual restaurant. Mediterranean-style cuisine. Views of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Menu may include cinnamon brandy French toast, wild mushroom ravioli, roasted cod with Parma ham sandwich, and decadent chocolate rum fudge torte. A children's menu is available.

“A wonderful hotel”

A beautiful hotel in a lovely area. Splendid views. It's a very large hotel so don't fail to take advantage of the golf carts to haul your luggage to and from your room if it's a long way from the parking lot. I had an excellent meal at the Azul lounge, and although I could only stay one night I would absolutely stay there again.

“Tucson Westin meets all expectations”

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a little R&R. The hotel was a little worn in a few spots but overall was superb. Our room had a gorgeous view of the golf course and mountains and the pool area - lalalala! Fabulous! Meals were superb and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Loved it! Can't wait to go back - highly recommend it.

“Will stay here again”

Very quiet, dark, spacious room. Beautiful view of the mountains. The grounds were very nice and we enjoyed strolling around. Had a FABULOUS dinner at Azul (a restaurant at the resort).

“Nice pools”

We have family in Tucson and, thus, use of the several pools. The hotal accommodated our need of having local family use the pools in a most gracious manner. Nicely done.

“Good People, Great place”

One might want to take some walking shoes with, as the area is great for that also. Swimming is also a plus, if this is what you enjoy. Last but not least, the food is outstanding. Don't forget the view of the mountains.

“My kids state it was the best swimming pool set up ever - except maybe somewhere in Mexico”

Very nice hotel - really good restaurants as well on the grounds. Probably the closest type of resort like that to the Univ of Arizona.
