“Quality for Price”
... typical L shape two story motel with nice pool ... they gave us a room right above the pool, which i thought would be a problem with the noise, but with the a/c on, could barely hear the many children in the pool ... clean room, nice large sink area (about 5 ft of counter space) and separate room for other bathroom fixtures ... refrigerator with freezer and a microwave made for simple snacks at night ... breakfast was without juice when first went to eat, came back later and all the juice dispensers worked ... waffles and oatmeal were the only hot choices ... only one belgian waffle maker, so there was a line ... the shower switch did not work well, so there was just as much water coming out of the bath faucet as there was coming out of the shower head, which did cause the bathtub to have standing water a couple of inches high ... non smoking room had no hint of smoke, which is very nice ... no matter what settings we tried, the a/c only worked at one speed and stayed on (which was okay since we stayed during a hot summer day) ...
“Very satisfied”
Although I wasn't expecting much since it was a motel, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed mattress was excellent-not at all soft or lumpy. The sheets, blankets and duvet cover were like new. The carpet was very clean. There was a coffee pot with coffee, microwave and mini refridgerator. The staff was very accomadating.I stayed for 4 nights. One day, the housekeeping seemed to have forgotten to make the room up. They came a short while later and apologized. We left to give her some space, but she didn't take the tip we left her. The continental breakfast let you make fresh belgian waffles every morning and also had assorted cereals, bagels, muffins, danish, poppy seed cake, and toast. They had 3 different juices in addition to tea, water and coffee. There is a decent size pool outside. The location was very convenient-a straight shot to the University going one way (5 min) and a straight shot going the opposite way to the Desert Museum or Old Tucson Studios or Saguaro National Park. Would definitely go again.
“Good place to stay in Tucson”
Quite satisfactory in every respect. Clean, quiet, comfortable room, spotlessly clean lobby, adequate breakfast buffet (do-it-yourself waffles, cold cereals, pastries, fruit, juice, coffee, etc.) Not ritzy or deluxe by any means, but it served its purpose handsomely.
“Best hotel of the road trip”
No issues - perfect hotel.
“Great value for the money”
I have stayed here before. It is close to the University. The breakfast is good, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are large.
“Nicest Place I've Ever Stayed!”
We requested a convenient room since my husband can't walk very well. We were given a room next to the lobby with parking right outside the door! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a balcony overlooking the pool--it was lit up at night and lovely. The White cotton duvet covers were great--I always feel hotel bedspreads are dirty. The breakfast was great--especially the eggs and cut up melon and fresh fruit. The shower was walk in and deep enough it didn't need a door or curtain. The A/C worked perfectly. The painted bathroom sink was a nice touch. The walls were cement block and kept the room totally quiet--didn't have to worry our tv was disturbing someone. Even though we were there for medical reasons (UMC), I felt like I was on vacation on a tropical isle.
“Tell all your friends great place to stay!!”
The whole staff was very friendly and helpful, we had 3 rooms and all of them were very clean and comfortable, the only complaint was that I forgot my own pillow, if your pickie about pillows bring your own. otherwise the stay was great. The pool was clean and heated. we had a great time.
“Hotel delivered on all fronts - kept its promise”
plump, fresh pillows with an extra supply; room and bedding well-maintained, clean, fresh, and recently updated; excellent complimentary breakfast; good water pressure with new shower curtain on convex shower rod to insure no body cling; nice, clean pool; lobby computer for use; staff attended to our (reasonable/normal) requests immediately
“Nice place to stay”
Very central location. Staff was very pleasant. Although right off the freeway, no noise at all (but we were on the west side. So I am not sure what the east die closer to the freeway was like). Although the rooms appeared older, they had been kept up pretty nice. Nice fridge/freezer and microwave in the room. The price wa excellent, considering the good quality room. The free continental breakfeast was great. Big selection, including waffles to order (which you make yourself). The only downside: Homeless people are very prevelant in this area, and we encountered several around the parking lot. Just be cautious of your surroundings, but most likely nothing to be overly concerned about. We will go back over and over again when we visit family.
“lovely would go back”
I t was a very nice hotel close to everything I needed in tuscon the mall, the hospital , dinner option, banks,
