The room was clean, albeit with a bit wear and tear. The staff were friendly. My main issue was with security. Someone attempted to open a rack that was fixed on out truck and we found they cut the straps and tried to pry into the rack. We approached the staff who did not attempt to either find video of the event as well as did not call us when the manager returned to the desk. There are alot of vaxant lots nearby where homeless live. Would reccommend staying somewhere else if you are travelling with valuables until the hotel can get their security issue figured out.

We are so sorry about the mishap with the homeless around your vehicle. They were definitely run off by me front desk agents driving around in the van. We try our best with this and have high hope that Tucson Police Department will finally get them all cleared out now that there is no funding in our area for refugee camps anymore. Gerson, we are not quite sure what deposit was taken as we never take deposits unless you pay cash. We are truly sorry you feel a deposit was taken from us but you paid Expedia for your room and we do not even have a reservation with this name expect for in 2012. Please contact me so we can get this figured out as we do not show you staying with us and we for sure did not take a deposit.

Tuscon Trip
We had a very good experience at this hotel, we were there to see the Saguaro National Park and friends in Sierra Vista before we drove to Grand Canyon so this was perfectly positioned for us to get to all of these places without having to drive through town traffic. Service was excellent at the hotel. It was quiet, it was comfortable, it was clean, I felt safe and breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived late and the door to the hotel was locked. As I waited, a van pulled up with airline employees. When they came through the double doors, they spoke, but the hotel employee did not. Once she opened the door she immediately attended to the airline employees and not me who had been waiting. I recieved no apology, no explanation and was told she would help me at the other end of the counter while she attended to the airline staff. It was very off-putting not to have been greeted or given an explanation. It was also dangerous for me to stand outside trying to reach a hotel employee that late at night. There was no note, no automatic telephone response and no one answering the phone. Once I was checked in, she didn't even offer me water as a way of acknowledging the oversight. Complete fail. The main line phone should have routed to an automated message, to an answering service, or a live person should have picked up. Or, if someone had to do a pick up, other staff should have been at the front desk. Completely irresponsible to leave the front desk unattended or unavailable for travelers arriving after a late evening flight.

Better than our destination? Really close!
Such a lovely room, the whitest duvet covers and towels all making the room so bright and clean. Not a single bit of dust anywhere. Breakfast was my favorite with the cheese omelets, turkey and pork sausages along with all the other usual choices. Everyone working there smiled and some engaged us in conversation, making our stay feel as if we're with family. I know you had little if anything to do with it, but out in back of the hotel we spotted a male and female Great Horned Owl couple sitting together in a tree. Score!

I liked that it was very clean and in great condition. Also, check-out was awesome. King size bed was comfortable. The handle was very hard to pull for shower. Breakfast was not ready. It said at 6:30 on weekends. No hot breakfast, only coffee, bread & fruit…very disappointing. Staff were not around. Lights were off in the dining area. In addition, restaurants were very far away.

We want to say how sorry we are for the lateness of our breakfast, as our breakfast person had a family emergency, as their 6-month-old baby girl fell off the bed and was rushed to the emergency room, He really anticipated being to work on time but the admitted the baby and getting someone to cover the breakfast was a challenge as everyone was sleeping at 3:00 in the morning and not answering the phone or text messages. We are truly sorry this affected your stay but when we finally got to get everyone here to help with breakfast hot food was served by 7:15 am. We do want you to know that we really do care and ask that you return to see that we care. Have a wonderful safe day.
