Bedroom was great!! Except.. We went to the buffets at night and it was closed and then in the morning again close :(, we had to go out for breakfast.

During our stay, the power went out at 3am, which lead to the air conditioner in our room was not working properly and the maintenance men had to come into our room and physically turn off and on. There were dead cockroaches in the hallways, leading from the hotel to the casino. The Front Desk Manager; Ale was unprofessional, disrespectful, and confrontational when I asked for compensation for the inconvenience in the air conditioner not working properly and suggested moving us to a smaller room, which was verified by a hotel employee, she argued that it was the same size, However, a hotel employee confirmed it was a smaller room that we had originally reserved. Ale's unprofessionalism as a manager needs to be evaluated. The service and employees have downgraded the experience of the Desert Diamond Hotel.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. Our staff did everything we could to accommodate your stay and your requests. You were given multiple discounts by both of my Supervisors Ale and Marisa. Our facilities team advised you of the situation in regards to the continual air flow in your room and that the vents would have to be closed and opened manually to stop the continual air flow from your room. You were given an option to move to an similar room, however you declined. Therefore, discounts were given as compensation, for any inconvenience.
