This is my second time staying at this property. The front staff has always been friendly. The room feels clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely be staying here a couple more times during my travels to and from FL and TN.
The AC was so noisy I had to turn it off to sleep. The shower was noisy too. But I heard no TV through the wall so that was good. The fridge was also quiet. Breakfast was a bust as everything to eat but the sausages had wheat and I am allergic. The OJ machine did not work. The breakfast room was pretty run down.
Reservation was prepaid online at booking only to be told it was cancelled upon my arrival. Wasted an hour trying to check in after proving to the front desk clerk that it indeed was still booked.
No forks, knives, orange juice or apple juice during breakfast.
Terrible musty smell in room. When we immediately asked for another option based on allergies, we were told nothing else available and were not granted a refund. Offered instead to roll in a cot and spray the room, which only would have masked the issue.
Better off booking down the road a Baymount. Friendly helpful staff and better room.
My rating would have been higher, but the bathtub is a little scary. There should be a bar inside of the shower for safety. Nothing to hold on to in the slippery tub.
Staff very friendly and helpful with our needs. We had previously been staying at Hampton in Troy, since we’re Hilton honors members. This hotel was much cleaner and affordable, and we’ll be staying here from now on, since we have family in Troy.

The breakfast lady was excellent, and the food was hot and good. Nice selection.
The room was surface clean, but the bathroom wall was stained with feces and the base of the bathtub was black. The carpets were dirty. Overall, it appears to be declining. Won’t go back.
It was quiet and clean. The breakfasts were great!

There was a mix up regarding the dates of my stay so I had to call Expedia and clear the booking before I could check in. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Even though my stay was on a Sunday and the old booking was a Sunday i I was charged 10.00 more for the room on this date. A complete breakfast was promised the next morning but we found nothing but waffles when we arrived at 8 :00 am. We were told the cook did not show up. We were there for a funeral and did not feel like going out to eat breakfast. I will not stay there again.
My stay at this Best Western was top notch. I was a late check-in, which wasn't a problem at all. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing.
The continental breakfast was great...a lot of good foods to choose from. I would definitely recommend this Best Western if you're in or near Troy, AL.
People that work there are awesome. We have stopped here twice a year for seversl years. My only complaint is some things sre getting run down. The refrigerator looked terrible, there was a hole in the wall, the door was hard to open & close and the toilet had to be jiggled to kerp it from running.
