“Not too impressed with the food”
The staff was friendly and always available to help. Mandy our server was great. service with a "smile"
“Good business class hotel”
The Kapok was a good, business class hotel in a nice neighborhood-- just across from the Savanah.
“Excellent service”
We did not have a fridge in our room. We asked for one (with tongue in cheek we thought) and 10 minutes later one was delivered!
“Great Hotel in Embassy District”
Located within walking distance of the embassy district and the cricket ground. Breakfast was great, lovely fresh fruit. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would be happy to stay there again.
“Front desk staff”
The service of the front office staff, especially Anthony and Nicole was absolutely superb and they ensured that for every second of my stay I was well taken care of.....they are a definite asset to the establishment and have made such an impression that I'd go back in a heartbeat. It was certainly a pleasure staying there....thanks aging Anthony and Nicole....
“Good Value for Money”
If you are looking for good value for money, then Kapok offers exactly just that. The location is central within Port of Spain and the two restaurants in the hotel is very nice. I will definitely recommend this hotel for any business visitor.
“Need renovation”
Old hotel in POrt of Spain that needs investment in renovation. A bit over priced for what it offers. The location is excellent for business
“More Training needed to some staff members!”
Some staff members need much better training, especially when it comes to serving couples who are racially mixed. They (staff) still have the same old terrible, negative, stiff and long faces when ever they have to serve you. Also what happen to the local foods of Trinidad? shame its no where in sight at the Kapok hotel.
