“Great Location”

A pretty nice hotel, just what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Great location right on the lake with an easy walk to downtown Traverse City in one direction and NMC in the other. I mention NMC because they have a great Inuit art collection which was part of our reason for going.

“nice hotel”

Nice place overall. My only complaint was that we had five people so we had to have a cot .The problem with that was we were given a handicapped room, meaning that while the bathroom was very spacious, the rest of the room was not. None of us are handicapped. The poor woman who brought up the cot could barely fit it in the room! Seems like they could have thought this through better, since they knew there would be five guests.

“Best Location in Traverse City”

Love staying here. Great place to stay during the Cherry Festival - within walking distance to everything!

“Happy”

Two of the 7 nights were very noisy. I called the main desk and they helped.

“Great location............needs a little TLC”

While the staff was excellent and the view would be breath taking during the right months, the rooms was in need of a little TLC. The beds were.....maybe just old. Not real comfortable, but not terrible. But very noisy and you could tell that it had seen better days. Also, by the pool and then again in the bathroom of our room, there were ants. Kind of a weird time of year for them since there was a few feet of snow on the ground and below zero temps.....but there were hundreds of them by the pool and then we spotted some in our bathroom later.

“Holiday Inn - beach side”

Getting in and out of parking lot - horrible. Left turn out nearly impossible. However, everything was in walking distance and without having to cross busy streets. Hotel is on the beach - pleasant beach. Nice restaurants, bars attached to hotel. Very convenient. Restaurant great staff. hotel problem with air conditioning but fixed very quickly. Door keys had to be re-programmed. Overall happy with the stay.

“Nice stay, but experienced an "oops"”

Good, but when asked for room service to come back later, they never did. We asked for new towels and those arrived quickly, but the room never got cleaned.

“review”

The hotel is located on beutiful grand traverse bay, It is clean and has been updated with pleasing decor, but don't eat there. The resturaunt food for dinner was mediocre at best and the breakfast buffet on Sum morning was terrible.

“Not bad but not great”

The hotel was undergoing rennovations so it was a bit dingy. Our room was above the nightclub and it was very noisy on weekend nights. The location was good and the view was nice.
