“Wonderful Place to Stay!!!”

The hotel was everything i would have expected plus so much more. Every thing was in great condition, extremely clean, comfortable and the staff was excellent.

“Very Impressed”

Have vacationed in Traverse City several times, but this was the nicest, cleanest, most friendly motel we have stayed in. Our only wish was we had the opportunity to choose a Bayside room...the views were spectacular on that side of the motel. Our room was very roomy and comfortable. Will surely stay there next time.

“Booking next year's trip already!”

The Cherry Tree was amazing! As soon as we got in, we were welcomed with big smiles (and chocolate chip cookies). All of the staff that we interacted with throughout our trip were kind and happy to help. Even if you were just passing through the lobby, or dining at breakfast, they were quick to make sure everything was great with your stay. The room was extremely well maintained and clean. The views were amazing! The room came with 2 TVs, a DVD player AND a PS3. We enjoyed having the larger suite with a small microwave and fridge. The only thing that could be improved would be investing in new mattresses (they were very stiff). The pool/spa area was also very clean. It was nice to walk into the pool and not be knocked over by overwhelming steam and chlorine! And don't forget about the breakfast! They are open from 7-10 every morning and have everything you can imagine. When we were there, the hotel manager was in there making sure everyone was taken care of and that the room was clean. The Cherry Tree was hands down the best hotel we have stayed at in Traverse City on our yearly trip. There is no question we will be back.

“Always a great place to stay!”

We have stayed at the Cherry Tree Inn many times and it is always the same-good service, clean room and great chocolate chip cookies on the counter when we check in. This last stay, it snowed overnight and our car was brushed off for us!

“Great Hotel”

We were very pleased with the Hotel. The service was excellent. We were given great suggestions for restaurants and other local activities. Each one was exactly what we were looking for. The room was perfect with great views (we had the bay view room). Our trip was wonderful and we thank the hotel for helping make it so. We would go again for our next trip and also suggest it for our friends. I don't normally give 5's on all of the ratings for any hotel, but feel that I need to in this case.

“Traverse City Bay View room”

My daughter and I attended a wedding that weekend. The other guests were staying at another hotel. I was also celebrating my birthday on that same day, so very much wanted a room with a view of Little Traverse Bay. So I chose the Cherry Tree Suites for this specific reason, room with a view. I could not have been more pleased, with the room and all the amenities, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room was just wonderful. My daughter commented on all the groceries that I had brought along for just two nights, but we made it a wonderful time, with everything that we wanted, right at our fingertips. I was very impressed with the room itself, it was oversized, very clean, it's own balcony. I had seen photos of the room on Expedia and read other reviews, so I was knowing what I could expect. I was not disappointed. The only thing that would have been better was if it had been warmer on the weekend of Oct. 1, 2010.
