Hôtel basique mais confortable, super bien situé sur le port, et calme. Manque un peu de charme, mais le but n'étant pas de passer ses journées à l'hôtel, c'est suffisant !

Hôtel assez simple mais confortable et propre. En pleine ville si on peut dire comme Torshavn est minuscule. Bon petit déjeuner et la salle est ouverte le soir pour un bon Burger ou une pizza avec une bière locale.

Everything was perfect! The cleanliness, the service, the breakfast. (Even though there was no vegan options, i made it work with the fruit and sliced bell peppers.) Hotel os right in the center and a .i utes walk from everything. Im planning on returning, so i would like to see options for laundry services.

What I like most is the location of the hotel in the centre of Torshavn. Although the bathroom/shower is small, but everything functions well - no leaking and clean. I received the room number and key code to the room in advanced via email but still I get nervous and anxious when there is nobody to speak to at the registration counter, but this is not a major issue as there is a phone at the counter which automatically connects to a staff who will assist if needed.

This was my second time at Hotel Torshavn, perfect for a week hiking and exploring in the Faroes, ideal small room for one person, no reception, not needed, good brekfast in room which turns into a separate Oriental Restaurant later.

Dejlig ferie på Hotel Thorshavn
Jeg er glad for at jeg valgte Hotel Thorshavn, fordi beliggenheden var direkte i centrum af byen og ikke langt fra de fleste seværdigheder. Morgenmaden var sublim og efter kl. 17.00 var den asiatiske restaurant også meget god at spise hos. Der var meget roligt om aftenen og sengene var gode tilligemed badeværelset.

Virkelig dårligt og slidt hotel
Absolut ingen service. Ingen rengøring på værelset i 4 dage ingen nye håndklæder eller sæbe. Meget slidt hotel Parkering ved hotel er 30 minutter Hotellet lever på ingen måde op til pris eller standart Jeg kommer aldrig til at bo der igen og det er ikke et hotel jeg kan anbefale.

A great stay in Torshavn
Perfect location in downtown Torshavn. The breakfast selection was small (unlike Norway or Iceland's free breakfasts), but there was plenty, and hearty for my needs. The room was a tad small, but for one person and given the need to explore not be stuck in a room, it was very good. For the price, location, and free breakfast, you cannot beat this hotel in Torshavn. The hotel was clean and pleasant for my stay.

Plus for the beds, minus for bathroom + breakfast
The hotel is perfect situated as central as it can be. It's a big parking lot, shops, restaurants, the harbour, the old city and lots of other nice things just outside or in a short walking distance. The beds were very comfortable, and the duvet and pillow was of better quality than a few other hotels. Our room had a great view, and with two big windows we really could enjoy it. Unfortunately/luckily there was a festival just outside the hotel, with all the noise directly to our room. The latest concert started 2.15 a.m... The hotel contacted us about this in advance, though with no other details than letting us know it would be a festival outside. We learned about this way too late to find anywhere else to live. The bathroom was small and had a stained shower curtain. We really hated the bathroom. There was no air condition in the room, and with the loud music we had to keep the windows closed at night. A terrible combination! The air was terrible during nights and in the morning! The breakfast was very disappointing. There were few options of spread, bread, fruit and drink alternatives. One day the bread was so det I didn't even manage to eat it. The staff were late filling up with things running low/empty. The elevator is old, and you have to close the door well after you've used it. Otherwise people will experience what we did several times - the elevator never came, because the door wasn't really closed and the elevator didn't leave the floor it was left.

Hotel centrally located and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only difficulty we had was with the self checkin service. Because we didn't have internet we were unable to receive the access code for the room. This proved to be really challenging. Thankfully another guest gave us the wifi code so we were able to receive the code. Other than that everything was great.

Great hotle in the centre of the city. Walkable to everything including the bus and ferry terminal about 8 mins. The harbour about 1 min. Grocery stores about 5 mins. The hotel itself is clean and quiet. The breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold choices. It didn't very but was plentiful. The room was an adequate size, space for luggage and to walk around.
