Good stay with some serious limitations
The cabin we stayed in was simple and old. The beds were comfortable and we had hot water without any problems. The WiFi does not work during peak usuage hours and needs to be upgraded. It is fine during quiet times during the say. The kitchen is supplied with the bare minimum, no salt etc. The bathroom does not have a shelf to put your toothbrush etc so you are stuck with the edge of the sink or the floor. Dogs and horses come up to the windows and doors and are adorable, however one night a dog barked for many hours and deprived us of much needed sleep. We loved the rest of the dogs. The views are fantastic. They had walking sticks available to borrow and we saw a fishing rod. The listing shows laundry facilities but we were never told about them, so we aren’t sure about them. Our cabin did not have chairs outside the unit, which would have been nice. Still glad we stayed at the cabin instead of the refugios, as these seemed crowded, expensive, and overrated. Note: the roads into the park are very long and extremely washboarded, lots of flat tires on visitors’ cars.

The location and wifi get 5 stars. Don't expect anymore than that..cabin was not very clean, there is no daily maid service, and bed was extremely soft. Overpriced as are ALL hotels in the park. Considering all the options, I would stay there again. Beautiful view.

Expensive but worth it for the location
The Cabanas are in an absolutely stunning location. We travelled to Torres del Paine to take part in the Patagonian International Marathon and the finish line was at the Rio Serrano hotel, a short walk away from the Cabanas. We stayed in a Superior cottage which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an adequately equipped kitchen. It was clean and warm. The hot water in the showers was a bit hit and miss though. We travelled by hire car which was most convenient to access this location as I'm not sure about the availability of local transport buses. There are no shops in the vicinity so be advised to do all your shopping for your self catering needs before you come to the area. The only other food alternatives would be to eat in one of the nearby hotels (which are pricey)

Great for families, in the middle of nature
2 bedroom cottages are perfect for families or groups of friends. They're more rustic that a hotel, but you'll be right in the middle of nature! Important point: the few restaurants in the area are quite expensive. The cottages have a kitchen, so bring food to cook if you can (there is no grocery store nearby)

Warm cabin in beautiful location
These cabins are in a beautiful location right next to the National Park's southern entrance with a mountain view. The staff were very helpful and let us check in early which was much appreciated. We had everything we needed for our stay and the cabin was lovely and warm even when it was super cold outside.

Good stop Torres del PaIne: affordable superb view
Ideal for a couple. Cabins are suited to families but I was travelling alone. Only option available coz of its location next to Hotel del Paine from where Zodiac tours return from Torres del Paine to Pto Natales, which I also strongly recommend . Worked very well. Views were lovely and an easy walk to confluence of two rivers.

The area is nice, the woman at the office was very nice and helpfull. The cabin was nicely heated and there were enough hot water. The kitchen was basic but satisfying. Overall size of cabin was not big enough, the rooms were small and the bathroom very small. The facility looked too basic for the price

This is a rustic cabin on remote property. It was comfortable but nothing fancy. There are horses and dogs roaming freely which is charming but watch your step. Also a mama cat and kittens kept trying to slip in to our cabin. Kind of sad to see. There are good restaurants near by but we brought breakfast food, coffee, and snacks. Overall relaxing and comfortable stay.

It was rustic and basic but we still enjoyed our stay. The park has very limited accomodation. The options are pretty much really expensive or camping. This place is a good middle option and yoj can save money by bjying groceries in Puerto Natales and cooking all meals. The cabins were comfortable and warm central heating and have amazing views of the cuernos peaks. It is a great location just outside the serrano entrance. It is very basic though. The pictures show an upright cooker with an oven but the oven didnt work. The stove worked but there was barely enough gas, so cooking was slow but doable. Little things like there was no plug for the sink for washing dishes, no chopping boards, etc just some basic inprovements would make a big difference. The bathroom shower also needed a good scrub. But we were able to overlook these things because of the amazing view, the warm cabins and the location. I would recommend it, but just dont go expecting luxury, just see it as comfortable camping and you will enjoy it.

Incredible location and views
My adult son and I are traveling together. This cabaña was perfect for us. Two large bedrooms each with a bath, a good, serviceable kitchen (we cooked every meal but one during our stay) and a living area with a view. the floors are heated, which was a real treat. The place stayed warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable. I was sick for 2 days of our visit and stayed in bed most of the time. I was very comfortable. For the area, I thought the price was reasonable. I would recommend it to snyine who doesn’t need a 4 or 5 star hotel.

Incredible View
The cabana offered a beautiful view of the mountains and was located within 2 miles of the park entrance. The cabana itself had a lot of room but the shower was a real challenge as the wstrr would alternate between hot and cold without touching the handles. Also, the kitchen cabinet was falling apart. Overall, however, we were very happy with the facility.

The cabana we had was nice and comfortable with great under floor heating. The bed was good.Great to cook your own meals in the well equiped kitchen. The view was outstanding overlooking to the great Torres del Pain. Because we were there on the end if the season the hotel and facilities were closed. It would have been nice to sit by the fire with a glass of wine and ir gave a meal.

Good base for Torres del Paine
We took a cabin for 4 nights, that was really a good base for the exploration of the Parque Nacional (where in any case there were no substitute vacancies in the lodges). The cabin was very rudimentary, with minimal equipment in the kitchen. The shower was OK, with warm water, and the heaters worked. Slight problem with the toilet flush, but nothing a handyman couldn't fix! An OK place with basic comfort, but certainly in need of some refurbishment. Given the price paid for this accommodation, an effort could definitely be made to improve the cabins. Internet connection in the main hotel reception area was good, and the staff was helpful (we had a problem with the oven, and a solution was offered rapidly).

Great location, bad value.
This property is located just outside of the main entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. This is a large hotel that also has several cabins on the property. Food options are sparse in this area, so you are really at the mercy of the hotel's food options and they know it. Nothing is included in the overpriced room rate, so you have to pay whatever they charge for a pre-fixed menu. It was around $8 for breakfast and over $30 for dinner and the food is sub-par. We had been in Puerto Natales the night before and we rented a car so we were able to stop and pick up a few items at the grocery store before we went to this hotel. We stayed in one of the cabins and felt fortunate that we had a full kitchen to cook most of our own meals. The cabins are the only accommodations at this property with kitchens, so if you must stay here, you may want to opt for one. Too expensive for what it is though as the cabins are tiny. Even though they have 2 bedrooms with 4 twin beds between them, we felt cramped (there were 2 of us). We stayed 2 nights at the property, and in retrospect, we should have only booked one night and then booked our other night elsewhere, either inside the park or in Puerto Natales.

We used this hotel for one night as a jumping off point for the park. For this, it served it's purpose. We had a basic cabin by the river with a fantastic view of the mountains and the front desk staff was very accommodating in helping us arrange some last-minute transportation. Our cabin was nothing special -- the beds were basic and the shower offered a trickle of water. Dinner at the lodge was hot and filling, but we wished we had gone to the cash-only restaurant just down the road. Breakfast was depressingly bad, overpriced, and should be avoided. This hotel is extremely remote. I would recommend booking, but only if you are renting a car and if you can stock up on provisions in Puerto Natales. There are no stores or cafes in the valley. To access the best trails in TDP from Rio Serrano, you will need to drive quite a bit or drive and then pay for a boat ferry. So while the location offers incredible views of the mountains and access to the river, just know that you aren't really close to anything else. A few other words of warning. The wireless internet available in the lobby is extremely temperamental and at times, impossible to access. Given the remote location, this is understandable, but you should know that it's not reliable. The hotel shuttle is available for hire and can take you into the park for about $25 US. And while we booked a discounted price on Travelocity, the hotel charged us full. We caught the error, and it was corrected.

charming
Visited the Torres Del Paine park over Xmas and stayed as a family for 2 nights including Xmas eve. Hotel has the feel of a refugio with small rooms and little sound isolation. Rooms and bathroom were clean and hotel staff friendly. The hotel is just outside the entrance of TDP so for visiting the park, you still have a little while to go (on dirt roads). Xmas eve dinner was 'fixed menu'. Don't expect fancy menus with lots of choices but the steak was excellent and service very good. Breakfast service is basic. Price-wise one should not forget that you are visiting a very remote area where tourist infrastructure is limited and everything needs to be trucked in (in other words : everything is kind of expensive in the TDP park). Since we had pretty sound 'expectations' we were not disappointed.

Great location, accommodations with potential
We LOVED the location...right near the entrance to the park. We originally thought about staying in Puerto Natales, but were glad to eliminate an extra 90 min or so car ride each way to get to Torres del Paine. The lodge; however, was a bit rough around the edges. The heat was limited in the rooms and nonexistent in common areas, except for the main lobby. A wood stove heated up the main lobby, but there were many other nice common areas that had no heat on and wood stoves that were not lit. Having a restaurant onsite with convenient.

Incredible view of the mountains!
The view of the mountains and valley from this hotel could not be surpassed - it was breathtaking. The hotel was older, yet very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and spoke adequate English for me to get by. My only complaints were that the walls were thin so it tended to be noisy and dinner was quite expensive for what you received (however that is the situation at every Torres Del Paine hotel as there aren't many options for dinner). However that view of the mountains was so incredible I cannot complain at all. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Stayed in a cabin and was disappointed
There are two types of cabins: 1. Old and dingy 2. Renovated and still kind of dingy. If you stay here because you'd like to have access to a kitchen - set your expectations low - which we did based on other reviews. We were booked for three nights and we changed cabins three times. The first cabin was old and dingy and there were no other guests so I asked to be moved to a renovated cabin. They very kindly moved us. While in the second cabin we made some tea and noticed that one of the knobs on the stove was different than the others. Unfortunately this was the burner we used and couldn't turn the gas off. We notified the front desk who came to check it out, said it was broke and we had to move to another cabin. We packed up our stuff and moved to another renovated cabin. The third cabin is where we spent our first and second nights. The cabin was fine - it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms - the kitchenette worked and we were ok with everything. Then we discovered one of the toilets didn't flush. We notified the staff who came to check it out and determined that it was broke and told us to not use it. Fine - we were ok with that as we had another bathroom and were only two people in the cabin. The second night we stayed we tried to take showers and discovered we didn't have hot water. In the end, we decided to check out one night early as this place just wasn't worth the aggravation. They only charged us for the 2 nights we stayed and that was nice of them.

Carefully hidden place, OK, but with oddhandicaps.
Very difficult to find; you have to look for and count the garbage containers as described on their site... The owners definitely refuse to pin up signs along the roads to get there. Maybe they have a sadistic pleasure in hearing how people get lost in that remote area. The chalet was very spacious, comfortable, but with very odd "architectural" features, like a big opening between the sleeping room and the bathroom, so you can perferctly see your partner on the WC doing his job... There are also low, but tricky differences in floor levels, faucets that don't fit the sinks, WC cover doesn't fit the pot, etc. The lady owner is friendly, but didn't seem to have the time for us. She was always in a hurry and busy with private matters. Internet connection is good. There is a beautiful, romantic veranda where you can have your breakfast. Mixed feelings about this place.

Great Location, Freezing Cabin
The location is great being at the south entrance of the park. Easy to find. Surrounding scenery would have been beautiful except it was raining/cloudy the day we stayed so couldnt see the surrounding mountains. Front desk girl was not friendly or very helpful. The cabin was very basic which is what I was expecting based on reviews i had read. The kitchenette had all the necessities. Our major hang up about this place was the temperature of the cabin. When we arrived, it seemed as if they had just turned on the heat shortly beforehand- it was a bit chilly. Im the type of person that keeps my heat down low at home(55 degrees Fahrenheit) in the winter and it was too cold for me. We all kept our coats on thinking it would heat up eventually. The problem is they have old radiators that are run on hot water and they just were not enough to heat the cold air. It was november when we visited and it was in the 40's(Fahrenheit) as a high during the day and rainy that day. Im not sure what they do in the cooler months to keep guests warm. Then a few hours after we arrived, we realized the heaters had turned off all together and we didnt have hot water to take showers. So it went from chilly to downright cold. We told the front desk and they sent someone who relighted the gas hot water heater. Needless to say, it never got warm. We slept in our shirts, sweaters, scarves, jackets, fleece leggings, pants, socks and the 2 blankets they provided. Lets just say it was a fun camping adventure

Worn and Tired
There were no remaining cabins so we stayed 3 nights in a “superior” room. Although the room was large, it is sad, worn and dated. The only furniture other than the lumpy beds, and a hallway armoire, were a pair of chairs for looks only - pillowy bottoms but no backs other than slim metal rods. The bathroom was also large but the tub so deep, that a slippery exit was dangerous with no safety bars. Most unpleasent were the breakfasts of stale bread (including dinner rolls left over from dinner the night before), and slices of pressed ham and nondescript cheese. Cereal is limited to corn flakes and instant oatmeal. Two mornings, there was a bowl of fruit cocktail made of canned, stewed and previously frozen fruits. There were pastries – cookies and chocolate swirl breads - - without a hint of butter. Even the coffee was bad. (Pack food if you can.)
