“Great Hotel”
Great hotel with a nice restaurant. If you want more affordable Japanese food, you may want to try Mitsuwa which is next door.

It was the nice Hotel. I stayed with special price before Dec. which is real open. Every thing new and clean, of course. My purpose to go to Torrance from San Francisco was to EAT goood Japanese food. This hotel was so convinient for me. I could walk to many Japanese restaurants and Mitsuwa market. The hotel has Japanese style of bathtub. I enjoyed a little Japanese trip. The new Japanese restaurant was about to open. I want to try next time.
“Hybrid Wonderland Beautiful”
We went here for a weekend get away from Los Angeles. I was disappointed that the SPA that was advertised on their website to be open by MAY 2010 was still not open. That was the reason we were going but I am not COMPLAINING. The hotel was beautiful. . . and clean. From Valet to Bellman to Front Desk everyone was ultra professional and nice. I requested a mountain side room on a high floor and was accommodated. The soaking tub/shower combo was GREAT. Hugh Flat screen TV. Every room with balcony for fresh air. Great Beds. We had dinner at Gonpachi and it was GREAT. Played Wii in the Gym and just had a relaxing time being away from home. If you are planing to visiting LA this Hotel is a bit far but for visiting Redondo Beach 15mins away it is cool. Once Spa opens we plan on returning as a regular guest for weekend Spa Retreat. They did an amazing job keeping it GREEN. Solar power. . .key card to turn on lights so they don't waist energy etc.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. When I arrived at 11pm Tammy at the front desk went out of her way to make sure had what I needed. Room service was closed so she brought me the glasses and things I needed personally....I highly recommend this hotel and can honestly say that it is one of my favorites. I hope they open more locations. I was a Catering Sales Manager with the Marriott for 7 years and am not easily impressed.

Do stay if you are going to LA. Excellent staff and both in the front lobby and on the floors. The staff is very good both day or night, friendly and they are helpful. I would definitely stay again. The maids were very efficent. We arrived in the morning of July 3rd 0630 hr instead of 0300hr. The night auditor was very cordial which makes up for the delay. Parking is extremely limited in the front of the hotel. It is for energy efficient vehicles. Had to park over the overflow parking lot which is okay. Some one play with my motorcycle but I had a heavy 1 inch round cable locking the rear wheels, and a brake lock in the front. The room was very clean definitely quality maids doing a great job. The only problem is limitation of bath soap. I had only one small bar of soap for 2 days/night. I could ask but once I was in the shower I wasn't going to call downstair. I got a new bar for the next 2 nights. The sheets and down blanket was very clean. The bed is not top of the line. It has lumps (springs) compare to 5 stars hotel. A/C was very good. I like the coffee they provided daily (one regular & one decaf) columbia is very good. Too bad its only for one person even when you have 2 people staying. Feeling safe and their security system is top. No fees for an inroom safe which I used but then I left cash out and other items they were still there when I return later. No fees for parking is another reason I would stay there again.
