“The price is right”

This hotel is in lower price range, so how "much" can I expect? This is an older hotel and needs some updating. The carpet was soiled in my room, but bed and bathroom were clean. It is not located in the most scenic part of town, but it was quiet and I could open a window in my room. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I liked the complimentary breakfast buffet service, simple but efficient, it even has a wafflemaker for the do-it-yourselvers. I might hesitate to recommend it to others, unless I know them really well, but I would definitely stay there again.

The location was ideal for my purpose,the room satisfactory,but the internal cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

“Not Bad”

We stayed for 2 nights here in April/May 2011. The lady at the front desk was very nice, breakfast was decent (waffles, toast, etc) and the location was close to the conference we were attending. The only issue was that there were a small # of rather small insects in our room. I found out when I was on the bed reading something and saw this thing crawling around beside me. It didn't appear to be a bedbug however. There were a few by the window in the room (some dead as well) but not many. I didn't raise a stink about it as I was pretty much only using the room to sleep in & there weren't that many at all. Overall for the price this hotel was worth the stay you just may want to do a quick check as soon as you get your room to ensure everything is up to par (especially before you unpack)!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. The only detail would be the smell when getting into the room, other than that very good.

“Good for the money you spend”

Do not expect luxury. But it is clean enough for the money you spend. Close to highway 404 and Wonderland. Expect 40 min drive to downtown Toronto before or after rush hours. Otherwise it is hour and a half.

“The price was right!”

We stayed the night at this hotel after spending the day at Canada's Wonderland. The location was very convient to the amusement park, after a long day in the sun we didn't have to worry about navigating downtown Toronto traffic to get to our hotel. If you are going on vacation, and you plan to spend a lot of time in the city, this might not be the best choice, as it is located a fair distance from the city centre. The rooms were old, and the carpet and bathroom tiles were stained, but the room and common areas were clean and sanitary. The breakfast was on par with most continental style set ups. The young man working the desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. If you are just going to be sleeping in the room, this place will be just fine... and the price was great!

“Good for the price (with a 30% rebate)”

Had a 30% rebate for 3 nights. This was simply the lowest price I could get for a vacation at Canada's Wonderland. It's close to it, about 10-15 minutes max. I wasn't expecting too much from it. In the description, there was no TV, no refrigerator, no Internet. At my surprise, I had TV and a refrigerator! I could get Internet too, for free! (You'll understand if you go there). Sure it was not as clean as 5 stars hotels, but it was all right for me. I had no bad feeling when coming in the room, I saw no insect or anything like that. But there was this air conditioner that was not that old, but had a problem with the temperature sensor. It thinks it's much cooler when the fan is not running. This was annoying during nights, we had to take care of it to keep the room cool. Oh and don't forget the breakfast is included. The food was just right. The waffle maker is great, but I prefer toasts.
