“Very quiet”
We really value quietness over presentation and decor. In that vein, this was one of the most quiet stays I have experienced. We had a suite next to the elevator, and with the suite bedroom door closed, we couldn't hear a thing. The hotel was quite busy with younger people each time we left/entered, so we were expecting the worst in terms of partying/noise. The accommodations weren't anything special, but the TV's were huge, so I was happy. Wife wanted to come back but heard the place is going to be turned into condos.
“Travel Savvy Girl”
Four of us ages 82, 79, 53 and 20 stayed overnight this past Saturday night. What a beautiful hotel! They allowed us to check-in early as we arrived very early, and my parents are old and needed a place to rest. The parking garage down under was easy to access and safe, and the location was good. We wanted to be near the University of Toronto, yet still accessible to shopping, movies etc. It worked out great! I would reccommend this to anyone.
“This hotel was very nice and clean”
I was very pleased with The Sutton Hotel and their staff. Everyone there was very helpful and friendly. The staff helped us find our way around and took the time to map things out for us. This was our first time staying their and if the hotel was not closing then we would make this hotel our top choice. Yes it was right above the Subway and you could at times hear it running, but even with that issue I had a great stay.......
“Consistently Good”
This is a hotel with consistent high standards for food, service and accommodation. It has become my preferred hotel in Toronto
“Very nice and clean hotel”
I don't have anything to complain about the Sutton Place Toronto hotel - service was friendly and fast and the hotel is pretty and clean inside. We even had pretty nice views from our room
“Blue Jay Weekend Getaway”
The hotel was excellent for us. The front desk staff was very helpful. The initial room assigned to us did not seem suitable so we asked about changing and were given another, better room. The hotel was bright and seemed to be in good repair. The pool was smaller than we anticipated and it was actually on the cool side. But, in fairness, it was refreshing. Having this as our home base for the weekend worked really well.
“Great hotel and great location”
I was impressed with the high standard of the service. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
“Couldn't have chosen a better one.”
great location, very kind/caring personnel, clean/comfortable rooms and great price through expedia.. couldn't have asked for more...
“terrific value”
Sutton Place has the feel of a European boutique hotel, great service, adequate gym and bus. services (wifi throughout)and an excellent restaurant on-site. It's centrally located in downtown Toronto w/pretty walks in every direction. And it has the Bistro-90-something right across the street, with a comfy bar, excellent wine list and classic french bistro menu. Pretty close to perfection.
“Great spot to see it all/explore/walk/shop”
Sutton is located in the middle of Toronto and close to many sites, shopping areas and Toronto University and Queens garden. Hotel service is plentiful with friendly staff and superb concierge. Our room was a corner King deluxe with good overall size (don't go smaller), very quiet and good view.
