“First Class Act...”
This was truly a first class act. My boyfriend and I traveled to Toronto for my birthday weekend and he travels frequently and usually stays at the Westin. So i booked us there the first night and the other 2 nights at the Hazelton. Although the Westin had an amazing view, everything else was horrible. So when we arrived at the Hazelton we really wasn't expecting as much as they had to offer. From the time we arrived we were always promptly greeted with a smile from valet, front desk, concierge, housekeeping the restaurant ALL first class service. The room was beautiful, the bar fully stocked, bed turned down at night when we returned each night, complimentary wi-fi, business center such polar opposite treatment than that of Westin. I can't wait to go back and stay at their gorgeous hotel. It may not have the view of Lake Ontario but it is positioned in a quiet, shopping area and the food at "One" was great! Thanks Hazleton for giving me more than I expected...
“Would love to return”
This hotel was one of the finest we have ever stayed in. The service was fantastic.
“Lived up to the Hype.”
Had a great time. Room was comfortable and quiet with 5 star amenities.
“The Hazelton - Toronto's Best”
I now understand why The Hazleton is regarded as one of the best in Toronto. Not to far from Yonge, but perfectly alright in the middle of the upscale Yorkville area. You truly feel like your experiencing true luxury when staying here. The room was perfect and there wasn't one thing to complain about. Hotel room service from restaurant was delicious, and having it be available 24/7 made it even more convenient. In short the Hazelton was worth every penny, and I definitely plan on staying here again.
“Toronto's best boutique hotel”
A+......Never except so good
“Beware of surprise charges”
I stayed at the hotel for three nights. I prepaid by stay with expedia. After the first night I got an invoice for additional charges beyond the expedia payment. These were removed only after vehement protest that they could not charge more than the expedia rate. Then, after my second night, I received an invoice for "hotel marketing fees" reflecting the cost of the hotel marketing efforts! Again, these were additional undisclosed fees. Finally, upon my return to Los Angeles, I discovered they had made additional charges to my credit card that were not authorized. While the room was surperb, and the service was otherwise excellent, I cannot recommend this hotel because I will not tolerate these kind of billing tactics.
“Best Boutique Hotel in Toronto”
Starting from the doorman and check-in the atmosphere was relaxed pleasant but still very sophisticated. No large crowds in the lobby. Total attention to detail. The room was amazing. Modern decor. No sound from other rooms could be heard. Room had every sophisticated gaget imagineable: from remote control drapes to heated floor in the bathroom as well as a TV in the mirror. The shower was separate from the bath and exquisite with a rainshower shower-head. This hotel could have every reason to be arrogant in the attitude but isn't! I lived many years in Toronto and know many hotels but htis one is my favorite.
“enjoyable stay”
Stayed at the Hazelton for two nights (fri/sat) and was very impressed. We have also stayed at the Metropolitan Soho and both are very comparable. The Hazelton staff are excellent, and you always feel welcomed. The TV in the bathroom amused both of us but I would rather have them spend money on a better music system...ipod dock??? Anyways, a small complaint for a great hotel.
“really a leading hotel”
Me and my wife stayed for 3 days at the hazeleton it's really convenient and centerlized. It's away better than 4 seasons. The service is fantastic the only thing that i was disappointed from is they charge you fro the parking besides everything was perfect.
“Really nice, very modern, clean, staff excellent!”
Hotel is located in the trendy area of Yorkville within walking distance to many things. They gave us a room overlooking a dentist office complete with patients. We asked to change and they did within a few hours. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel could be viewed as pretentious but from our POV it was not. It felt like home.
